Until knocked out for the year, Watson of course was having a great year but of qb’s playing in the division today, Brissett is better than any of the other three statistically and yet people here still complain about him. For a guy playing his first full year on a team with a poor o-line, he has done very well. We are set at qb if we can get Luck back.

He certainly has his flaws, but he’s effectively a rookie and what rookie QB doesn’t have flaws?  Brissett has exceeded my expectations.  He has a LOT of room for improvement, though, but he’s doing okay.  I submit that the play calling of the OC has not been his friend.

It's terrible.

They need to address all aspects of the O-line in the offseason...and actually do it.  This includes playcalling, scheme, coaching, and personnel.

Ask @NFLfan about the difference between Norv Turner and his power run/vertical pass attack  vs. Pat Shurmur and his Andy Reid type 'pass to set up the run' type west Coast offense.  She says they also adopted the ZBS (what % ot time, I'm not sure, i haven't seen much football this year). Shurmur also has spread, and speed up spread under his  belt (Chip Kelly - Eagles).  I'm sure she will say it was a big change, and a welcome one once the team buys in and 'gets it' (knowledge).

I know many are calling for that from Irsay/Ballard.  I'd like a E-P type concepts offense, personally, but anything better than what we have now.

The defense is really impressing me...

If we get either a quality ILB or someone on the edge this offseason, this defense could make some real noise next year.  If we get both then we WILL make noise next year.

Doyle was wide open over the middle, and Brissett checked down to him for a very nice Colts gain.

Another thing I have no idea about... just what is JB's progression order if the 'targeted guy' isn't going to be open?

Gamepass and audio went out right before halftime.

Got back just in time to see them congratulating AV on the score.

Hope you get back soon.  We actually scored on our first drive after the half.  Hopefully we keep choppin...uh...never mind.

Didn't you make a thread calling him terrible?

It is different on every play.

It does appear we are putting in more plays designed to check-downs with the backs though.

Like old Mariucci would say, Touchdown or Check down!

    • Pascal is an X or big slot. Campbell is in the mode of traditional slot and Z. I've said since before the season started that as Pittman comes on, Pascal would work more out of the slot. So yes, kinda, but Pascal is certainly not a like for like, doesn't replace what Campbell brings, or fill the void of that type of WR.  Dulin, Fountain, Harris, and Johnson (if he signs) are the guys with similar traits.    What I'd like to see X - 70% Pittman, 20 % Patmon, 10% Pascal S - 30% Dulin, 30% Pascal, 20% TY, 20% Patmon Z - 60% TY, 40% Fountain   (nobody over 80 total %)   Pittman made a big jump in snaps from W1 to W2, We all expected him to steal snaps from Pascal at X as the season went on, but that's likely expedited. The above is my long term hope. Short term, I'd expect Pascal to get a higher % to start at Slot. The injury to PC though may end up interestingly enough, mean just a shuffle and a chance for Patmon (who is very unlike PC).
    • The winner this week is @AZColt11       Great job by everybody
    • I'm not a Ram, but I still agree with the 2nd part.
    • Fountain did play in the game. They just didnt get the ball to him. He had snaps
