I can't wait to hear Pagano's post game speech about how well the Colts played, how this team had grit and how tough Carolina is.

How everything is fixable. I'm over it. I'm okay with firing Pagano also

I kind of wish that this game could have been a blow out so Irsay could finally take action but unfortunately the usual Colts try to comeback and lose in the end. Typical...

Well, wonder what kind of rah, rah, blah, blah  kind of excuse, optimistic, crap speech we get from Pagano tonight. Brave guys. Who cares, don't win games with bravery, win it with actual talent and good coaching. We seem to be lacking in both catagories

Now they have to play the Broncos.....

Yeah Sunday won't be as close as this one.  Denver is a different monster, they annihilated the Packers.

Luck is a huge problem but is play calling is truly horrendous.

I think I could count on one hand how many plays we ran tonight that weren't vanilla as they come.

Edit: apparently English isn't my first language.

Why is it take the Colts suck so bad for 3 Quarters and then become good in the 4th Quarter...Do they think they can be clutch everytime???????

Just don't have what it takes. Luck is forcing stuff that wasn't there. Hey...we may be looking a top 15, top 10 draft pick. This kinda loss is probably gonna bust this teams gut. Probably gonna be hung over on it next week when we get throttled by Denver. Legitimately worried for Luck in that game.

SIT LUCK UNTIL HE IS HEALTHY!! AND IF HE ISN'T HEALTHY, SIT LUCK BECAUSE HIS DOWNWARD TREND IS JUST GETTING WORSE AND WORSE

Not a great fan of our owner, but can't complain about him paying the guys the GM wants. Has shelled for a ton of contracts. Unfortunately too many of them wasted on guys that don't produce.

That's it for me for this season. I'm not watching anymore colts games this season. No reason to.

I don't think that will matter. . . I'm sure you will constantly hear about all the drama that may ensue after they get throttled Sunday against Denver.

Greg Toler absolutely sucks.  He's good for literally about 5-6 missed games/season due to injury and about 2-3 big plays/game.  I really hope Smith ends up panning out but he needs to return from IR first.  So much wasted talent on the side of Grigson.  It's hard to fault one person for the issues this team has though, it takes an organizational effort to be as bad as the Colts.  Luck carried the team on his back for 3 years now we are seeing the outcome of him not playing well.

Extremely disappointing loss tonight our Indianapolis Colts.   :(   I felt the weather with the heavy rains also played a factor and impact on tonight's (and early morning) outcome.   I have ready many and several comments on the game plan and many has been directed on Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton which may be justified.  Regardless, the Colts are in a three game losing streak, but yet tied the NFL with their current 15-game divisional winning streak against AFC South opponents!

With the loss, our Colts are in a current three-game losing streak, but may not get easier as they have the return of Peyton Manning again to Indianapolis, and the Colts have to prepare for another undefeated team, the Denver Broncos, in less than a week's time.  Broncos also acquired tight end Vernon Davis from the 49ers yesterday.

Colts had a 5-3 regular season record at this time in 2014. Also with tonight's loss to Carolina, Indianapolis is now tied with the Houston Texans for first place in first place in the AFC South, but the Colts have the tie breaker for now, barely edging the Texans with both points for and allowed with 173 to 203, while the Texans has 174 to 205.

Colts arrive back to Indianapolis later this morning, while Coach Pagano and his  coaching staff will look over game video later today. Players return after an off-day Wednesday to prepare for the Denver Broncos, as I am sure may be another emotional game at the real LOS for Colts fans attending.  All of us will just move and go on the rest of this week, and look forward to another entertaining game between our Colts and the return of Peyton Manning and his undefeated Denver Broncos this Sunday.

Thanks to all of you participating on the Colts Monday Night Football Game Thread again, enjoy the rest of your week, and the weekend.  see all of you here on Sunday, stay Colts Strong, and GO COLTS!!!!!    :coltslogo:  :1colts:  :colts:  :helmet:  :blueshoe:  :coltshorse:  :coltshelmet:  :coltslogo:  :)

    • Health is the biggest thing. He’s dealt with so many things since college. I just hope he can stay healthy and continue to be a pass rush threat.
    • I don't think that Love falling out of the first round is all that unreasonable. People on this board have an insanely inflated value of all QBs just because we don't want to be stuck with Brissett again and want a shiny new toy to watch on the field. Love is a fringe first round caliber player, but forum members projecting him at 13 all of the time has really made everyone assume that he is an early round 1 player.
    • I mean... if Jacoby is above average, Carr is definitely above average.  I kid, I kid... he may be in the range around top 15 QB in the league, so maybe he's "above average", but again that doesn't tell us much. This is a ranking relative to the rest of the QBs, the real questions are - what can he do and what can he give you, what type of offense he can run and in what role will he be successful? I thought he was very successful in the role Gruden gave him this last year. I'm not sure it's the role that is conducive to consistent long-term winning. He definitely is upgrade on JB, though, I never said otherwise.    I'm not locked on Love. I am locked on draft a talented high potential QB that we can develop and become our franchise QB. Whoever Ballard likes best, I will be cool with. I don't think Carr solves our long-term QB questions, so... I'd be OK trading for him as a bridge QB(3d round pick or later?), not as a franchise QB(1st? 2nd?).    JB was traded for as an emergency measure when they realized Luck won't be ready in 2017 and they started him in 2019 as an emergency measure after Luck retired. I don't think JB is the type of QB they imagine as the engine for the offense. Go listen to Frank Reich's introductory pressconference about what kind of offense he wants to run and ask yourself if he's describing JB-type of QB. He describes the polar opposite of what Jacoby is. Look at every other year of Frank tenure in the NFL as an offensive coordinator with QBs like Rivers, Wentz, Luck... he didn't run this type of offense with any of them. I cannot imagine a coach like Frank preferring being this limited in the offense he runs. Now Carr might be able to do a bit more than Jacoby(not sure about Bridgewater), but I still don't think he's an ideal QB for what he wants.
    • Nah current  carr is better than the aging rivers
    • Sheard has been great with us and hes not really that old. He could easily play at this level for another 3 years.. I think Al Woods walking in FA in 2018 hurt this team, and I think Ballard feels the same way about sheard. He expected someone to step up for Woods and it just never happened. I would rather a guy force sheard out, than to just hand over the reigns to a guy who hasn't proven himself a proper replacement.    I dont see Sheard costing us a lot of money either. There isnt a lot of reasons not to sign him. The dline needs help and I think it woukd be counterproductive to let him walk.
