Mike Adams Flop into DeSean Jackson

Since there were several on here outraged at Gronk for his block on Brown, let's discuss Adams' flop that left Jackson grabbing his knee afterwards. Adams was blocked near the sideline and blatantly threw himself to the ground, intentionally rolling into Jackson.

I'm curious how those calling for Gronks suspension for that move feel about this one!

You couldn't possibly be suggesting that Adams intentionally tried to injure Jackson with that. Come on, now.

I didn't say he intentionally tried to injure Jackson. I said he intentionally rolled into him, which he did.

Funny how perspective changes when it's one of our own .

Link isn't working for me on phone.

It may have been intentional but he didn't go for his knees he went straight at his feet! Saying he was trying to hurt him is taking it a little far. Adams actually took out his feet and wasn't really close to his knee if you watch closely. Not the worst acting job so you can't tell for sure if it was on purpose or not. He didn't go for the knees though.

If anything, I think he was trying to draw a flag for a late hit. I don't think his intent was to hurt anyone. But he did blatantly throw himself to the ground and into Jackson

I believe Adams was blocked and push into Jackson, i don't think it was really intentional. He also came back to play shortly there after but then re-injured himself when gordy accidentally bumped knee's with Jackson.

You can say he intentionally flopped. But you can't say he intentionally flopped into jackson. It just liked like a flop. But did not in any way looked like he threw himself and aimed at Jackson.

It was so intentional it's not even FUNNY!

It was SO BLATANT how could anyone cheer ?  :cheer2:  :cheer:

It was so CRUEL afterwords you saw Adams on the sideline high five'n team mates  :highfive:

Now all we can do is keep our fingers crossed  :goodluck: that Adams doesn't get penalized a BILLION DOLLARS!

At first I thought he slipped on this

After the hit Jackson felt like this  :excited:

This CLEARLY cost the Redskins their only opportunity to win the  :lombardi:

The  :coltshelmet: should be tossed out of the league for this!

Well that's all I have time for right now so for now I'll say  :highfive2: and give this thread a final rating of  :scorebad:

My impression is that he was surprised by the Redskins player (Morris?) that ran into him and his spontaneous reaction was to roll onto the ground ( perhaps to draw a flag?). You can tell that when he turns his head back towards sideline he can see Jackson and it could be that in the heat of the game his impulse was to hit him.

He didn't intentionally go at Jacksons legs, Watch it again, Young reached out with his right arm trying to stop his own momentum while running at a high rate of speed...Adams got knocked off balance by Youngs grabbing of the arm and momentum and unfortunately Jackson was right where Adams happen to fall...It happens at times...Think of a Top...That's what Adams resembled on that play..The force of the grab and Youngs momentum sent Adams into a spin...It sent Adams up onto the tips of his toes(the tips of Adams toes resembling the tip of the bottom of a top) at which point he fell in the direction of the pull......Right where Jackson was

Adams. He got nipped by a defender while out of bounds after the play was over and decided to pull an acting job. Didn't work out very well.

I see him looking at the ref while he is sitting down well after he was pulled down by Young but that's all I see

It didn't look intentional to me when I watched the replay. He may have exaggerated the push but I really don't think he intended to hurt Jackson. If that was his intent, he could've done that before he was pushed in the back.

As far as the Gronk thing goes, I was only mildly concerned that other Colts players didn't come to Brown's defense. Some of this stuff you have to let go anyway. This is tackle football, not patty cake.

What's your point? That indy fans shouldn't favor their guys? Why feel the need to defend Gronk who basically launched Brown into a bench?
