Lawrence Guy - DL - Chargers

Chargers claimed DE Lawrence Guy off waivers from the Colts.

Guy played 46 productive snaps for the Colts before being waived on Monday, even blocking a field goal in Sunday's win over the Seahawks. He'll be a reserve along the Chargers' thin defensive line.

He wasn't on the streets he was on the Redskins PS before we plucked him off and he played really well for us.

Outside of Cory Redding that "band aid" was probably our best d-lineman over the last 2 weeks, certainly better than Matthews. But who cares it's not like you use a rotation with defensive ends.

He was on the street. Colts signed Xavier Nixon off the redskins PS. Was just on the same day.

On October 17, 2012, the Colts signed Guy from the Packers' practice squad. In 9 games with the Colts, he recorded 21 tackles (15 solo) and 1 sack. The following season, he was cut after the preseason finale against the Cincinnati Bengals and signed with the Washington Redskins practice squad.

On September 24, 2013, the Colts re-signed Guy off of the Redskins' practice squad.[6] He was waived on October 7, 2013.
