The colts are going to lead at the half 28-10.   But one fan in this thread already announced that things weren’t going well and he probably wouldn’t watch the rest of the game.   The score was 21-10 Colts when he said that.

Not kidding.

most likely a frank apologist or someone who thought this team was Super Bowl bound.

Did he say it was not going well? I think it was from a perspective of wanting to see AR play - not about winning or losing. I can totally get behind that - to me it’s ARszn and if he misses time that’s a HUUUGE bummer.

I know it's Houston but this is the best half of football we have probably played in nearly 2 years. It is reassuring that we have 2 good QB's as well. Sam isn't near the QB that Minshew is.

Was that the game where he had bad food poisoning and ended up in the hospital literally right after the game ended? That guy was badass. I loved Matt.

Yeah, he had an excellent game in Houston, now that I think about it.  That might have been the game.

Best game Pep ever called.

Yes….  He said the team wasn’t doing well.   He pointed to the defense.   He apparently thought the Colts were about to blow the lead.

Didn’t the Colts lead the Vikings last year about 30-3 at the half?

Quick notes from the first half:

offense:

- sucks to not see AR for the rest of the game.  But his concussion doesn’t look that bad.
- refs are trash, curious to know how the calls are going right now

- downs, Mallory, Granson showing up as receiving. MPJ and Pierce have been quiet.  Really need them to step up because if the Texans adjust like the jags did, we probably won’t see downs and Granson having another solid half.

defense:

- front 7 looks good, defensive backs look bad…as expected.
- need to get more pressure on stroud.  Last thing we need to do is to go prevent and make them game close.  Stay aggressive.

- linebackers need to get a little bit better with pass pro

side note:  yeah the hit on AR was dirty but AR has to protect himself.  Fields runs as much if not more than AR and takes less big hits. Shane has to get through him somehow or we’re looking at another Andrew luck. Just heard strahan reiterate what i said previously. Get through and finish.  Learn how to not take the big hits.

Who cares?

CBE was saying this is the best half of football the Colts have played in 2 years.  I was simply pointing out the Colts played an even better half last year vs. Minn.

That’s all.

Technically our half against the Vikings was better. I just didn't want to mention that game haha . This does feel different though.

The first half of the MIN game was not as good offensively as this one. The MIN game literally everything that could have gone in our favor did, it was fluky in so many ways... and that's why it wasn't sustainabe. This one looked more like a well-coached team executing ... for the most part.
