...tanking teams give games away.

No, they don't.  People can't wrap their heads around this.  Tanking does not benefit the people that are on the field.  Those people are playing to have jobs next season.....either with the Dolphins or with another NFL team.

Look at the year that the Colts "tanked" for Luck.  How many people associated with that team were around to benefit from having Luck the next season?  Yeah, it was good for Colts fans that they were the worst team in the NFL and got the #1 pick, but it wasn't good for any of the people (aside from Irsay and maybe Reggie Wayne) associated with that team.

Actually, it was a big disappointment...

Robert Mathis stuck around too, but if I’m not mistaken we lost guys like Freeney and Saturday from that season. Tanking for Luck was awful, even if we did get Luck out of it

So every team with a losing record is tanking?

Ugh...they were both 1-win teams at the midpoint of the season...not just "teams with losing records."

Regardless, the Colts aren't the NYJ. I believe they will figure out how to win this game.

This game really shows how good JB is. We look like a completely different team on O without him. Credit the D, Miami has had a bajillion drives and still only have 10. We need to put in Kelly and pull out all the stops on the playbook.

The o looks like % with jb at times too

Why does the word "tanking" trigger so many people? MIA obviously does not care about winning this season.
