How long do we wait before announcing the consensus pick? I don't think we should wait more than an hour.

The Dolphins need WRs. The highest rated player still on the board is a WR. Whoever that is goes to the Dolphins.

Per my post at the topic, all teams in read will be an instant pick. No waiting, BPA or consensus

Per my post at the topic, all teams in read will be an instant pick. No waiting, BPA or consensus

Btw, the GM for Detroit has also missed both of his picks. Is Detroit in red too? I only see Miami in red.

Quiet period again will be 10pm EST-8am

sometime I was thinking about. Do we want to pause the draft on Wednesday when the FA signing period really flares up?

What ever you guys want. With the later rounds it might be a goof idea.

I say let us get done with Round 3 and call it a day for the first mock draft.

Then, do a post free agency one, right after Easter (week of April 2nd), where we can do 4 rounds thus giving us ample time to finish before the real draft. It will also prevent any mock draft burnout :) and help us re-charge our evaluations with the same teams (and possibly find new GMs if necessary).

What do you all think about that?

I would like to finish 4 rounds here if possible. But I am open to anything.

45 minutes till the nightly pause, then 1 hour 15 minutes at 8 am

That's too bad. If only the current GM made his pick now, we could probably start at #83 tomorrow. Everyone else through 82 is here or will be here tonight.

as much as it sucks, I'm not gonna change up the time rules that were stated at the beginning.  That's not a fair thing to do. That said, we can make note of this and change up the rules for the next mock draft as chad72 said above.

as much as it sucks, I'm not gonna change up the time rules that were stated at the beginning.  That's not a fair thing to do. That said, we can make note of this and change up the rules for the next mock draft as chad72 said above.

You don't have to change anything. I was only commentimg that several GMs seemed to be waiting around and we could have made several picks.

Disregard that comment. Thanks.

I know believe me I know. I've thought the same thing many times now over the course of this.

I am not too sure about GMs just waiting around. Not everyone can sit on their PC or cell phone. They have lives beyond this forum. Things like work, family and sleep come in to mind.

I think things have gone pretty quick myself.

The commissioners are doing a great job.

Just remember, patience is a virtue.

You don't think I am aware of this? It seems that the Commissioner who my comment was for understood what I meant. I was referring to those participants I saw on the board at the time of my post and others who have said that they post at night. Those GMs were available to make picks at the time of my post or shortly afterwards. Nowhere did I say that the commissioners were not doing a good job.

Look, there are around 25 different GMs. Not all of them are going to have their time lined up to accommodate the timeline of this forum.

Like I said, patience is a virtue.

So 2 minutes to 8:30, and then at 9:30 bids for the consensus pick, with 11am being the time his selection is made for him.

I put that out for anyone who can't hover over the time a post was made.  The way those things read, after 1 hour, it reads "Posted 1 hour ago" for the entire hour, so it's hard to know if a pick was made at say 8:15am or 9:14am.  So unless people post the time a pick was made, it's hard to tell.  No complaining, just trying to help out.

Hey, this is an internet forum where it's encouraged that you assume the true meaning behind the words you post.
