Gavin Memorial Draft round 3-2018

Gavin Memorial Draft round 3-2018

Will not start until the completion of round 2 but I'm starting the thread now. Also, note, several GMs have not selected in Rounds 1 and 2 and forced us to do a consensus call both times as well as not providing a list in advance to the commissioners of the draft.  Therefore, going forward in rounds 3 and 4, those teams, which will be highlighted, will be essentially auto-drafted with either a consensus pick or the top ranked player remaining. This will happen immediately as those teams come up to the clock.

I can take the Chargers as a 3rd team since there seems to be ample separation between the Jets and Falcons (my other 2 teams) with the Chargers in the middle, if the commish is fine with that.

that's plenty fine with me.  All yours.

So... thoughts on my 3rd rounder?

Love it!!! About the right round to get a draft day 2 RB that can be a starter, IMO

Hopefully, he is more like Marshall Faulk than Ronnie Hillman coming out of San Diego State. :)

Come on, Finball. :( I thought no one would draft him before the 4th round because on this big board he is rated 186th.

Good job! I love the pick.

Heh, that's actually why I thought about passing on him but I felt my other targets were more likely to be there in the 4th. I had him as 2nd best prospect of players available but the #1 is DB, Bucs already have similar player on their roster and I took Minkah in the 1st.

With the 70th Pick (Via Chicago), the San Fransisco 49ers select:

Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, Notre Dame

Somehow overlooked on this top 200, Brown is a dynamic, lengthy receiving threat, and will give Garapollo some height to look to on the outside (All other WRs on the team are 6'2" or under).

Next to the podium will be @Jared Cisneros and the Denver Broncos!!

With the 72nd pick of the 2018 NFL draft, The New York Jets select

Hayden Hurst, TE, South Carolina

@tweezy32 and/or the consensus for the Dolphins pick is on. :)

How long do we wait before announcing the consensus pick? I don't think we should wait more than an hour.

The Dolphins need WRs. The highest rated player still on the board is a WR. Whoever that is goes to the Dolphins.

I’m fine with Marcell Ateman, WR, going to the Dolphins
