With Kwity Paye's option being picked up, have us at around $70m in cap space currently. ($20m rollover) I have us with about $29m to rollover after final roster, practice squad and in season spending takes place. Without any FA moves. Every multi-year deal will be a double hit to the cap, this year and next, the rest of the offseason. So for instance, if we signed Q Diggs to a 2yrs $16m(just throwing out numbers). That would essentially be all $16m coming out of the $70m, this year, reducing rollover amounts, next year + reduced rollover amount from this year + next year's money. Really expect any move we make, if we make one, will only be a 1yr deal, which still takes that $70m down out of the rollover.

They would not of exercised his 5th year if they were unhappy. Latu will play the LEO role as we say. -

I'm happy about this. Ballard said that he liked Paye a lot still. Not too surprised we picked up his 5th year option. I was 60/40 on it. Love keeping this EDGE room as long as possible! -

I would go on the side that they are not happy with him in terms of play. He has been here for 3 years now and really has little impact on the game. Not what you want for the 20th pick in the draft. Not a bust but a huge disappointment. You never notice him in the game at all. -
Correct, the weak side, so we agree. Paye is better suited for the strong side. Now Dayo, talk about a swiss army knife! Can play both ends, 3 tech, and NT on obvious passing downs, love the kid :).
