A lot of people wanted Anderson in the 3rd last year. . .

Here's to hoping! Fackrell was seen in a lot of mocks in the 2nd, when most saw him as a 3rd rd guy. Same thing with Anderson, so definitely could happen.

He's an athletic freak for his size...

The red numbers reflect somebody who is nearly 6'3" but only 205-10 pounds.  Less agile than more compact body types.  Pagano may be more concerned about a FS  protecting the deep center rather than charging towards the LOS to tackle a shifty RB.

When exactly are we going to address this pass rush? I'm okay with more protection for Luck but this is got my concern meter up.

We are gonna be able to run the ball AND have Mathis for at least one more year.  I think we'll be fine.

Well, we have two 4th rounds picks now, so could be one of those. Although I think they're just gonna roll with Mathis, Cole and Walden this season (all in the final year of their contracts), and then we get some OLB in next year's FA and/or draft.

Yeah, it is like someone dropped the calculator or something.

Packers had 2 more 4th round compensatory selections, we could have swapped our 5th for another 4th.

Actually....   we couldn't.    You can't trade compensatory picks yet.

That starts next year.       But we didn't get a 5 or a 6.       We got a 7.      Yuck.

I'd use the 4ths to move up for Fackrell. Unless they think he will make it to the next pick.

I don't like being the bearer of bad news....    but Clark will not be doing much of anything for the Colts in 2016.

He'll be blocking for field goals and PAT's ---- maybe.

He's been in a spread system.    Never been in a 3-point stance.     Doesn't know how to run block very well.

Last year,  Arizona took an offensive tackle in the 1st round -- Humphries -- and they didn't play him a single down.    The kid didn't even dress for the entire season.    He has that much to learn.     I'm expecting roughly the same for Clark this year.

Maybe he helps us in 2017.     But I'm not expecting much in 2016.

As always in these cases,   I hope I'm wrong.....

I don't see how the 2016 Colts are going to get a lot better.     Our two second day picks won't give us much of anything until 2017.

Very, very strange and curious Day Two for the Colts.       Frankly, very disappointing.

There are a lot of interesting free agents next year if they make it to the market as pass rushers and we should have ample cap space for one. Look at 2017 projected free agents. Grigson saved his pennies this year.

    • I just read the article on Stampede Blue.  It’s an old clip of him dunking.     I’m pretty sure they told him not to do that during this time.  He did say he’d be throwing with the guys.
    • I am always impressed with the knowledge on this forum so I thought I would ask a question about the practice squad as opposed to trying to figure it out on my own.   We have a UDFA Dalton Tucker on the OL (Guard Tackle) Currently listed as 3rd team behind Q and Stills. He is my nephew-in-law and a great young man. He is a good OL with a lot of flexibility or otherwise the Colts would not have signed him. However would be a very long shot to make the team at this time due to the returning player and two OL draft picks.  The question is how many OL do we normally keep on the Practice Squad and what are the criteria? In all my years of following the Colts have just not paid attention to the details. If it came down to Stills or Dalton for the PS is Stills or Pinter eligible and would you put a more veteran player on the PS or would you prefer a younger player assuming you thought he could develop? Pay-wise do all PS players get the same? I also understand that PS players attend home games on the sidelines and practice with the team since they are designated as practice squad. Any information is appreciated as I will be following this aspect a lot closer this fall.
    • I thought he said he wasn’t going to play BB?  How old is that video?
    • Unfortunately, (Or fortunately) I have NEVER lived in Indy   I'm from Ohio, but would take Atlanta and Dallas weather any day of the week over Indy weather.     I could see the Colts in the playoffs or at a bar on Sundays (On the 2-3 years that I didnt get Sunday ticket)   I am waiting for my $100k check from the NFL !!!
    • Yeah AR, quit enjoying life and stop trying to stay in shape! Stop playing BB-bad for knees Stop running...bad for hammy and joints Stop lifting weights...might tear a muscle or tendon No cycling...too many distracted drivers out there Stop driving....again,too many crazy drivers No more showers...might slip in the tub Don't throw...anything....might hurt that shoulder Avoid going up or coming down stairs....you could slip and fall Play it safe AR....enjoy your summer and see you at camp! PS...don't fly either..lots of crazy things happening to planes
