question is what if Denver, NE, and Cinci lose out (I know big IF) and we win out wouldn't that give the Colts the number 1 seed due to tie breaker over Denver with us beating them a few weeks ago?? so mathematically we are still able to land the 1 seed if the pieces fell into place. just saying stranger things have happened.

Im calling it now colts with the 1 seed will play the Niners for the superbowl haha

For us to get the #1 seed, we have to:

1) Win out

2) Cincy losses to Vikings&Ravens

3) Baltimore or Buffalo beats New England

4) Denver losses to Houston&Oakland

5) Kansas City loss to San Diego

1% chance of this happening, but we're not eliminated lol

Well I'm just happy we are in the playoffs no matter what!!! Cause I remember the year peyton went down boy that year sucked I mean I was actually thinking somehow painter or Kerry would pull miracles and peyton comes back in time and we was going to win it all but then I woke up.

out of all those games I could see 4 of the 5 happening. Minnesota will hand Cincy their first home loss and the Ravens are playing for playoffs so they will be playing tougher, Baltimore beats New England, and I think KC loses out. the tough one is Denver losing to Houston and Oakland.

The Colts "Playoff Scenario" webpage saying "the Colts can climb as high as the #2 seed" is incorrect.  I'm not saying the chances are good or even plausible, but if Denver loses out, Patriots lose 1, Cincy loses out, and the Colts win out they would hold the #1 seed.

My question is if this is correct and why would the Colts own website claim the highest possible is the #2 seed?

Maybe they know like all of us... there's little to no chance they lose out to the Texans (with Matt Shaub starting) and the Raiders (maybe more competitive being divisible game)

Guys, it's never too late to see the light. It's always good to see Colt fans rooting for Baltimore again. It just leaves a warm spot in your heart.

Nonsense!

I cheered for the old Baltimore Colts for years...BUT I can't stand the Ravens (Baltimore Browns).

May all bad things happen to the Ravens from here on in.

If matt cassel starts vikings may upset bengals because he seems to be the only one who gets the ball to greg jennings.

I even forgot about Jennings being with Vikings.

As far as the seedings I believe that if Colts beat the Chiefs they will end up with #3.

#2 is also possible but #1 is completely unrealistic as Broncos will win out.

I also think that if Colts keep improving their game it doesn't really matter what seed they get, they can win the Super Bowl.
