Luck to Pro Bowl

Hoosier Colts Fan

Hey everyone, lets make sure Andrew makes it to Hawaii this year (unless of course he's practicing for the Super Bowl). Here's the latest story from NFL.com.

Right now, he is the #3 QB for AFC with only our own Peyton and that Patriot guy ahead of him.

GO COLTS... and GO PRO BOWL Voters -- let's get Andrew's ticket punched.

 Arian Foster with more votes than AP

It's just proof of the incompetence of regular people voting.

Like Michael Oher and Jeff Saturday and Patrick Willis over Navorro Bowman and John Kuhn over Henry Hynoski and Haloti Ngata over Geno Atkins and Victor Crus over Calvin Johnson and Ed Reed over Jairus Byrd and Matt Kalil over Trent Williams/Joe Staley and Charles Woodson......

Yeah, fans are dumb. Instead of having the Pro-Bowl to recognize the best players, they should have different divisions of All-Pro teams: The First and Second Team All-Pros, All-Conference Teams, and All-Division Teams.

Yeah Schaub deserves it, very underrated

I'd bet Manning or Brady will either be in the Super Bowl or stay home if they lose before that, so Luck should make it. But Schaub deserves a nod over Luck.

Now if the Colts sweep Hou and win the division, Luck should get in over him.

Honestly, it shows you how the fan Pro Bowl voting is a joke. Guys get voted just by name recognition. I love Luck to death and think he will be an elite QB for the next 15 years. But do I think this year he is a better QB than Matt Schaub and what Schaub has done? No. Do I think RG3 is better than Matt Ryan? No. Problem is Schaub and Ryan aren't flashy players and therefore don't get votes. Jeff Saturday was honestly shot a couple years back. I am surprised he would make the Pro Bowl.

are you forgetting Matt Schaub? 285 of 445, 3,294, 65%, 21 Tds, 10 INTs

Or Andy Dalton? 282 of 445, 3,186, 63%, 25 TDs, 14 INTs

Luck (18 TDs, 18 INTs, 55%) is better than those 4 yet

No he's not he's showing a link to a story with the votes on it and saying Luck is currently in third place.

He's encouraging Colts fans to vote for their QB nothing wrong with that on a Colts forum.

The Broncos and Ravens aren't good teams? He did lead the Texans to a win over both and the Ravens game wasn't even close.

Schaub is overrated, it's easy to throw the ball with the best D and running game and a Top 5 WR in the AFC

Overrated??

The guy is never mentioned in the top QB conversations...

And Luck doesn't deserve pro bowl.

    • Ballard speaks eloquently and that makes fan base calm down for that moment, but not exactly transparent... Example: Start of last season: Ballard said he liked the young secondary he just drafted. Year-end Presser: He blamed himself for throwing the young secondary group into the fire. Pre-draft presser: Ballard says, The young secondary group is not going anymore, and they've all grown up. (When zero off-season program or progress they achieved between January and April) What exactly transparency we see here? But, Ballard knows how to appease people, and talk to media so that people will trust him.
    • On Grigson we....oh wait... on Ballard we trust! Trade down on select one of the two premium CB and get an additional selection. With injury concerns we will see Latu go down with a season ending injury within the first five games. Bet on it we have that kind of luck. Also Ballards track record on Edge players is lousy.
    • Latu is the #1 DE in the draft in my opinion. He's a technician like none of the others will ever be. Turner has had almost all of his snaps at OLB and probably fits that role better. I'm extremely happy with this pick.
    • I'm not knowledgeable enough to judge this pick but I'm struggling to square two of the most common posts in favor of this pick 1. Injury isn't a big deal. 2. He would have been top 5 without the injury. Which is it? Elite talent that has no red flags doesnt fall very far. Is it a red flag or not?
    • I thought someone might ask "who" I would want him to swing for the fences for.....and its tough to explain, but I will try. I would have loved Marv Jr. for nostalgia but knew that was unrealistic at any cost.....Liked the idea of Brock Bowers, etc. but its not really "WHO" for me, it was the effort, risk it....and this applies to FA as well. Go out on a limb for a difference maker, I think they are more qualified to determine "who" that is than I.....and maybe there wasn't one. but over the last 7 or 8 years there have been opportunities in FA and draft. So maybe my disappointment is more cumulative than this instance specific......Dunno if that makes sense, he has played it safe for years and does well with what he has had, guess I am saying (my opinion) at some point you gotta say "I am pushing all in" for this player as we need that over the top player now......and he never seems to reach that boiling point.
