What happens to Lauren Tannenhill if Ryan Tannenhill is a bust?

This got me thinking:

Isn't this a little too early to be featuring a woman on the cover of Maxim for a quarterback who isn't the starter for his team yet? Furthermore, as of this post, he hasn't even signed a contract.

If Ryan Tannenhill ends up being a bust, will this directly effect Lauren's career as a model? Do you think Lauren will be a distraction for Ryan? How do you think Ryan is coping with the fact Lauren is getting more publicity than he is? Considering the fact she held up Ryan's own jersey for him, I have to wonder whether this love dynamic will play to Ryan's benefit or not, considering how poor it effected Tony Romo in relation to Jessica Simpson.

Lot of head scratching on this one. Miami better hope they get 1st round value out of Lauren, err I mean Ryan.

Few edits I didn't make in time:

1.) Lauren's not confirmed as doing the cover of Maxim. Just that she will be in Maxim.

2.) Ryan may already be signed to the Dolphins. I'm confused because he shows on their roster, yet I see no record of his salary or his transaction name in the above link.

Also, I forgot to bring up the fact Miami is, of course, doing Hard Knocks, so take that as even more distraction and/or pressure for Ryan and Lauren.

The two careers shouldn't interfere with each other unless she tries out for the cheer squad.

Even if he doesn't make the cut, she'll still be hot and her career will pay the bills until he lands a job with another team. I think he'll do fine in Miami though, like someone else said he should have been 2nd round but he's still NFL material.

If he's a bust she'll be like the girlfriend from 'Varsity Blues' and switch her attention to the starting QB. JK.

If He's a bust then she'll be able to make it by using her bust to help her model. I'm not saying model nude but saying she could model under clothes. She's a nice looking woman

to me this was a desperate pick by the dolphins.

The Dolphins NEED a decent QB. I'm not saying that Tannehill will be the QB that they need but unlike the Packers where Rodgers stepped in after Favre left & is doing a great job,Miami is still looking for someone who can "replace" Marino.

She is a good sort, but have any of you guys checked out the Dolphins cheerleaders calender--they make her appear not that hot (and I'd rather look at my avatar any day)

shes got chicken legs but I havent seen a closeup of her face
