If we use our first two picks on d we are failing Richardson -

I go by the combine as they are electronic plus film in terms of short area quickness and long speed. He lacks short area quickness and if he gets beat, I don't think he has the speed to recover. That's why a man corner needs that speed and 10th of a second is a major thing. I just don't see it and his type of player can be found after the 1st -

Trading down for more picks doesn’t really make sense to me with this team as it’s currently constructed. I think we were the youngest team in the league last year. If not then we were very close. We have all 22 starters coming back and the three specialists. That’s a strong nucleus. We resigned a number of key reserves and added two more key reserves in FA. We have a number of key players returning from injury that were counted on to be key contributors last year. I’m thinking of players like Flowers, Dulin, Woods, Hull to name a few. My point being I’m not sure our current seven draft picks will all make the roster. And we still could sign a FA or two. This strikes me as the time to move up and try for better talent not trade back to get more picks. I also read it’s not considered a good draft class overall. I read where once we get past the top 150 prospects it’s not that great of a class. So I think this is the year to trade up even if it costs us a pick or two. -
@Nevbot Great story. I have a Masters and Manning story but sadly they are not related. Been to Augusta National twice - both on the Wednesday practice round. It is a magical place. Not a single blade of grass out of place. First time it was in 2001 when Tiger completed his Tiger Slam. On Manning - my wife works for Ascension and won two seats for us at the fundraising dinner he does for his children’s hospital. This was the end of February just before Covid hit. We got to take a photo with him but it was with another couple we did not know. Thank goodness for photoshop. -

Lol.... Agreed but not worthy of a pick at 15 or even top 20. I think he is a 2nd rounder.
