I agree. Kirk is being paid $100 million the next two years to be the starter. Why would he be upset about drafting another QB who will be a backup?

I hope Latu ends up being "elite" but the medical (although to your point) has been ok for 2 seasons still long term concerns me, and his slender frame (and I know they can and probably will try to bulk him a bit) give me long term and effective at this level concerns respectively. In a vacuum great college talent, I hope it transfers, but its not a sure shot for me and maybe I will be proven wrong.....and hope I am....just my concerns right now...I see him as a "fragile-elite" pick sort of like buying a sports car from the scratch and dent aisle, I mean it is a sports car, but look at that scratch lol .....dunno maybe I am reading too deep......but I am a fan and thats what I do ha ha!

Both players are very talented. I would be ok with that. Your Vikings cleaned house yesterday. If McCarthy works out, you get an A yesterday IMO. I love the Turner pick. It is funny how good a football team can be always hinges on how good the QB will be. -
Yea and nsurg and his post definitely helped to lower my concerns but the concern still lingers for me.
