Carr having trouble taking snaps

It seems Derek Carr is having trouble handling the snap from center so maybe this helps us in the Raiders game

I wouldn't game plan for it or anything.  If it happens, yeah great.  But I'm not holding my breath.

The article says that their offensive production is down since the injury happened so may it has limited their playbook?

i think Davis should shadow crabtree..and cooper double him and you can win this game easily well not easily since Mack is on the other side

That's too bad really. I like Carr and wish him well. Hopefully he is good to go by Saturday. I don't wanna hear the "Oh you guys beat an injured Oakland team blah blah blah" excuse.

Understood, but at this point in the season I don't want to hear excuses and yeah, buts.  Bring 'em on.  Give us a chance to show we play with heart and play every game like we want to win.

It really isn't noteworthy unless Andrew Luck or TY Hilton are on that injury list. Other than that the Colts are basically the same team with or without most of the guys that have been on that list this season. It's what happens when you lack playmakers.

Yes and no. While it's far less significant now that we're all but eliminated from the playoffs, not having Geathers or Mewhort hurts, IMO.

Geathers is on his way but isn't yet a force to know how much he's missed but he is one of our best tacklers. Mewhort is our best lineman but at times the O-Line is subpar even with him starting.

In all seriousness, until he plays at a high level consistently, and stays on the field, we shouldn't get too excited about him. But he definitely has the potential to be that guy, and missing him impacts the defense's ability and changes the gameplan.

We're going to start 3 rookie OL. I don't feel sorry for any other team's injury situation. Sorry, not sorry.

It's all going to boil down to which Colts team shows up.  If they play well they could keep up or beat the Raiders even @ Oakland.  If they don't, then it could be VERY ugly.

I have a "feeling" the Colts are going to show and and play well.  Win?  Who knows.  But I think they will keep it interesting because they're backs are against the wall and they seem to play well in those situations, just like Sunday when they decimated the #2 defense in the league.  It's the Jaguars game at home I don't trust but it may be a moot game by then anyways.

Fair enough. But Kelly has been starting all season so it's more like 2. Plus Mack would probably work the line even with our usual starters healthy.

thats why they lost to kc, his first game since injury to finger, throwing / timing way off

Give me the Green Bay or Minnesota game plan and I think the shoe can get a W. Treat Carr just like Aaron Rogers. I think Oaklands D will have a time getting Luck off the field. Just like Green Bays did.

you know even with Khali Mack, the Colts have more sacks than the Raiders..

 

if the O line plays like last week, I can see the Colts dominating TOP....of course Oakland has a far better offense than the Vikings so we'll have to see how that goes.

All depends on how we put the game plan together.  Hopefully it's not a Houston Texans game plan.   If it's a game plan like Minnesota or Green Bay then I say we got a real good shot.  That Oakland defense is not good versus the run or pass.

1) Who would be making these excuses?

2) Why would you care?
