Trent Richardson predicts he will end up in the hall of fame

He was saying this stuff earlier when he was with us about how he compared himself to Marshawn Lynche, or something. Then he mouthed off against the Colts when we kicked him off the team. This guy has such a swollen head, and I'm NOT referring to concussions, although it wouldn't surprise me if he had them with the way his mouth moves on its own.

The guy has to make the team before he makes the Hall.

Honestly I think I see a break out year for him... The guy has no where to go but up! I have a feeling that in the next year or 2 we will be kicking ourselves for cutting him!

Please tell me you're joking...

He actually does have somewhere to go but up -- he can still be cut by the Ravens. They have a very loaded backfield. Just because they brought him in doesn't mean he will make the final cut down to the 53-man roster.

He NEEDS to win the job first, and I can't imagine these Hall of Fame comments of his are helping his chances. He needs to be humble.

Well, in his defense, it wouldn't be too difficult to make a bust of Trent Richardson...

The only gold jacket Richardson has any hope of wearing...

I believe players have to wait 5 years after ending their career before being considered for the Hall of Fame.  So for Trent Richardson, he could possibly be a 2017 inductee

Actually, I could definitely see Trent making it to the Hall of Fame after he hangs up his cleats.  He will just have to remember that visiting hours are 9 AM to 5 PM each day, and it's $24 for adults up to the age of 64.

Maybe I'm being too hard on him.  With a lot of hard work and dedication, Trent could absolutely make it to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.....as part of the nightly cleaning crew.

21 is going in haha

I'm not saying he's going to be in the hall of fame, I just think if he's serious about getting his crap together he isn't to old to turn his career around. I think if he stays with it and continues his hard work he will end up better than any running back we currently have on the team... That's just my 2 cents but I also have the same hope for Turbin.

I'm not actually! I think we did the right thing by cutting him! But I think if he continues trying to improve on himself and making himself into the the player that both the colts and Browns saw in college, then I defiantly think he could be a very serviceable back in the nfl, maybe not hof but salvage his career.

At this point I am just wondering why some people continue to find every chance they can get to poke fun of Richardson. It is quite childish and those that have repeatedly done it should look at themselves and realize that he had the skill and work ethic to follow his dream and most of us did not.

He also said that he has the goal of one day going into the HoF NOT that he predicts it.

With that said this exact reason is why Richardson should have gave a generic answer.....Or should let his play do the talking

However Ol' Dano their looked to me to take a jab at Richardsons expense more then he was actually trying to get a quality article out

That's pretty easy to answer. The Colts gave up a #1 pick and he was a bust. It's also pretty comical for him to mention his playing and the HOF in the same sentence. I am quite sure you grasp that.

He had the skill and work ethic to follow his dream....of becoming one of the biggest busts in NFL history despite multiple chances to redeem himself?

And most of us did not?  How do you know that?

Yes, the quote is taken out of context.  The interviewer asked how his career would end in a perfect world and Trent responded with "putting on a yellow jacket", which makes sense because that's how things would go in a perfect world for him.  But given what he's shown during his time in the NFL thus far, having just 1 season where he goes for 4.0 ypc would be a big accomplishment.

I'm sure every player that ever came into the league who aspired to have a long career wanted to be in the HOF......He voiced that. He isn't the first nor the last

All I did was answer the question you ask. No more, no less. It was him who threw his work ethics out the window with not controlling his weight and not striving to be the best he could be. The jokes are just that, jokes. Joking is as good at will get for him if he don't do a sudden turn around for himself. I wish him luck but that is in his lap now.

Except for Trent Richardson didn't predict he would be in the Hall of Fame.  It's an "achievement he is gunning for."  You would hope every players has the goal of reaching the Hall of Fame.

With Richardson though he needs to prove he can put forth the effort to get there, which he has not done yet in his NFL career.

Yeah but you could say that about literally every player in the league.

If they ever make a "Roast of Trent Richardson" I think I know who would be the first person they callhaha

    • Should’ve been 7-1 but Suzuki made a very uncharacteristic error.    My only wish now for the seasons is to not finish last place, but I don’t see Cincy climbing out of the doormat, it’s just too much of a hole.
    • It has just been postponed. They are still going to fight. New fight date will be announced soon. Doctors found an ulcer in Mike's stomach so it is a health risk that he fights. If you get hit in the wrong spot with an ulcer, your stomach can cause internal bleeding. That is nothing to play around with. The fight will still happen according to both parties.
    • Cubs back in 2nd place with a win over the Reds 7-5. Great way to kick off June with a win.   NL Central standings as of June 1st: 1. Brewers 35-23 2. Cubs 29-30 3. Cards 27-29 4. Pirates 27-31 5. Reds 25-33   If the season ended today, the Cubs and Giants would be tied for the final Wildcard playoff spot at 29-30.
    • Nope.  It's pre-camp.  Nothing much to talk about so lets just speculate on how camp shakes out.  I mean it's not like anything we say will have ANY impact on who stays or leaves, it's just off-season talk.  Just let it happen. Peace.
    • Dulin will be battling for a roster spot this year.  For some reason MAC is still around. They did carry 5 TE’s initially last year.  I prefer 6 WR’s over 5 TE’s. However, if Dulin is gone for some reason Pierce is more likely to be able to compete for that role than the other WR’s.  People need to stop trying to trade Pierce. He’s a tremendous asset to the Colts running game and if he does lose the #2 WR spot, he will absolutely thrive in an MVS role. He has way better hands than MVS.  Can’t have too many weapons.
