He is still under concussion protocol, but they are hoping for him to be ready to practice tomorrow (Wednesday).

I would have thought that if he isn't back by Wednesday he will / is very likely to be back by Thursday. I would expect him to suit up vs Houston unless something comes from way outa left field to hold him back another week.

Some don't miss any and get cleared pretty quickly.  Some miss more, especially when they've had multiple concussions.  

 

But 1 game is a good average.  I would expect him to be cleared this week.

I think they are back to Fitzpatrick.  Mallet got injured a couple weeks ago and is on IR.  I don't think Savage is ready.

Texans' star WR Andre Johnson suffered a really bad concussion during the games (arms froze in robot position). I would doubt he'll pass protocol to play this week.

I wouldn't worry too much. If he isn't ready to go, then he needs to sit. Andre Johnson is probably going to be out so their biggest weapon is Deandre Hopkins. Toler should be able to take Hopkins in man coverage all day.

Nah he didn't trim it. His beard realized it was going up against The Neard and recoiled into hiding.

I sure hope Vontae gets better and is able to play Sunday.  We need him on Hopkins!  It's kind of looking like Andre Johnson may miss the game, if so that would be a huge loss for the Texans

Pagano hopes he can practice Wednesday, but if not.. As long as he gets a full session in by Friday he should be good to go for Sunday.

If Johnson is out and Vontae is back, that will be huge for our defense and they should be able to focus more on stopping Foster and Blue and just letting Vontae and Toler operate in Man coverage.
