Truthfully I can't remember the last time Josh Cribbs was good at anything.

But that said, he is one of the best kick returners ever and we can barely get past the 20 so we can use all the help we can get. I'd love for him to produce here and wish him well.

Coby has never been equal to and certainly never above Dwayne. He did have his best game last week, however. I was really proud of him. I really hope he continues on that path.

But that said, he is one of the best kick returners ever and we can barely get past the 20 so we can use all the help we can get. I'd love for him to produce here and wish him well.

 

Cribbs is at least as fast as Whalen still and his vision on PR and KR is obviously excellent (that doesn't diminish), so he will be a huge upgrade over Whalen. Our Special teams blocking has been excellent this year and Whalen has done nothing but squander it. A signing like this is long past due.

In terms of pure receiving, sure. But Allen has utility use as a FB and premium TE blocking skills well above that of Fleener.

Yeah just read Allen said he is day to day aandhopes to play, we should be fine on TE. Best news we could get, he has been a top touchdown guy this year.

That's what we all imagined/hoped for when we drafted Fleener but last week was about the only time he's ever shown us Jimmy Graham-ish potential.
