I ran out of time chuckling homer simpson GIF- We should at least have an hour to edited things, I don't get the half an hour. @Nadinewhy the half hour? @danlhart87did you pick this week? I didn't see it. You were 16-16, I know you picked INDY lmao

Because you don't want people quoting a post and then you change it and the quote makes no sense

Also, don't want someone posting something inflammatory and then hiding it with an edit

A good rule of thumb is to read your post before you post it and then read it again.  I don't see why you need to wait an your to do that

A half hour just seems little time but no Biggy. Glad you responded with a reasonable explanation. I know other people have had the same complaint too. An hour isn't really that long. I was trying to get all the records accurate and just ran out of time.

If I know it's going to be a long post, and therefore take extra time, I usually open Google Docs or Microsoft Word and type in there first. Then once I have everything I need I'll paste it into here.

@John Hammonds Saints ain’t throwing on the best safety tandem in Bates and Simmons in Atlanta. Plus Cousins does well at 1 pm :)  I’m going Falcons in division rivalry game.

While a Panthers win is a feel good story, Bengals are too good to not come out with a win, more desperate.

I am going Bengals and Falcons as well. I wish you were playing, you were one of the best.

Yeah, we're all bunched up close together. Was a tough week this week. Hopefully it's easier next week. You're on top..... for now.

I switched to Vikings and Rams, just a gut feeling. Moe and Vikings are tied with me too. I am lucky Moe had an off week, rare for him.

That Bills at Ravens game will be something else. I don't think Lamar is going 1-3 though.

It just makes it too hard tracking injuries, making changes etc., will pass for this year. :)

It is easier to give expert opinions, lol, what do I have to lose? 😄

Your pride, your ego, your dignity, your manhood. All of these can be lost if you fail at being an armchair sports game picker haha

chuckling homer simpson GIF- it is time consuming. I figured after last season that Chad would want to beat me.

That’s how I kept getting sucked into fantasy football from 2008 to 2021. Yeah I won a few championships but learned a lot of lessons too when I took things seriously that weren’t life and death :)

Hence it’s been easier to walk away from things that aren’t high on my life priority list.

Of course, health and family are more important than this. We all talk smack in here, but it really is fun to me. If Moe takes me out this year, I will congratulate him and won't lose sleep over it. This kind of thread I like because other threads have way too much negativity and a few Trolls. Do I want to win of course because of bragging rights but it isn't the end of the world if I lose .

    • Putting the injuries aside.   It didn't take nor does it ever take anyone with a common sense of football and good football play to understand that when your team has been a consistent middle of the road mediocre team or worse with the same aspect in their overall player quality and then the GM re-signs or gives extensions to those middle of the road mediocre players that produced those middle of the road results, what did everyone really expect to happen here? That they would magically get better?    It's one thing to want to retain your guys and if your guys are good or great then I totally agree. We all should. But when your guys are just a bunch of jags then you need better guys, not give jag guys contracts that some would argue are deemed for better players.   There are many on this forum that were happy when we signed all these jags and brought them back. Some of us were not.   Who is looking like the smart ones now?   Could it be the ones who always get chastised for being critical?
    • Im not sure what to make of the Seahawks, I think they can be a really good team but they’re constantly shooting themselves in the foot. Geno has been seeing ghosts tonight and I’m not sure when he started that bad habit.
    • 😀 Thanks!  First time for us at Nissan Stadium so we shall see.  I am actually hoping to see Treadwell elevated and playing.  He went to HS about 35 minutes from us and graduated a year before my son so we followed his career closely.
    • Not surprised.  That’s Rodgers team lol
    • I was down on Sermon last year because he tried to run before the catch a couple times last year, and dropped easy catches. This year he's caught everything so far, and fights for yards. He ain't JT, but he's as good as anybody else we can trot out there so far.
