Jake Locker reportedly out for the Season- Fitzpatrick to start Thursday

Looking forward to Thursday. If we can get a victory, it will be HUGE for us in the division. Washington and Kendall Wright have been having a great season, so our secondary will be put to the test. Chris Johnson has had some flashes this season as well. Fitzpatrick is one of the better backups in the league, so time will tell. However, after a gut-check at home like today, this team will shake it off and get back to work.

NFL.com is reporting that the Titans fear the injury Jake Locker suffered today will take him out for the remainder of the season.

Ryan Fitzpatrick will start in his place on Thursday.

Here we go. Thursday cant get here soon enough.

Ryan Fitzpatrick's career game.

Have to agree...backups seem to do the most damage to us. Any no name wants a big game, just play the colts. It is just not this team, it goes all the way back to Namath!! Really would like to see a list of players that have had their best day as pro because it seems to happen to us more than any. Oh well, on to Thursday..go colts!!

Difference is there is a lot of film on Fitzpatrick. That wasn't the case with Pryor, Clemens, and Keenum. We beat Fitzpatrick last year.

Yes he's not a no name back-up QB coming out of no where.  The problem with Fitzpatrick is that he is kinda like Lance Stephenson of the Pacers, where there is good Lance and bad Lance.  If good Fitz shows up he's as good as any QB in the NFL.  If bad Fitz shows up his team is losing by double figures.

I also think having Hasselbeck for this game will help since we are talking back up QBs.  Granted I don't know how much you really gain from having a guy who was in another teams system but he ran this offense for a couple of years with these coaches.  There has to be some things he can share with Manusky.  Again though the Titans know this too and I am sure will changes some things up just because of that.
