Personally I think that it is "too white".  Maybe if the lettering and numbers were outlined in blue I would go for it. 

Actually isn't it against the Rules to have the numbers and name the same color as the jersey to where you cant see it? I thought they had to be a different color from what the main color is anyway.

I actually find this funny. I woke up this morning and opened the 3 articles on my phone. Watched the Allen video and started thinking to myself, how crazy are the Colts these days? I knew it was April fools day so I was hoping it was a joke. I thought this might be the dumbest thing ever, but it could actually work, because it would be very tough for the opposing teams to know our packages. I am sure it would be illegal in the NFL, and if not then once applied it would not take long for the NFL to pull the plug on it.

 

I have to give it to the Colts on this one. They sort of got me.

 

And I also thought it might be a joke to poke a jab towards the Patriots, but it is probably not that deep.

 

Maybe the Colts will say the 9 point possession is a joke too. ;)

An April Fools joke is supposed to be funny or at least clever; This fleeting moment of satire accomplished neither. An epic fail on both fronts I'm afraid. It just reminds of the Cream song "White Room."

The Colts are hysterical poking fun at those fans clamoring for a uniform change.   They are like if you think our current uni's are boring wait to you get a load of these all whities!    The Colts kill me.

 

Any way for what it's worth, .I LOVE our classic looking uni's.  Wouldn't change a thing.

Yeah, but outline the numbers front and back with blue, and then the horseshoe on the helmet and it'll be pretty awesome. All white shoes would look awesome on our guys IMO.

I want to see the Colts have a Black Out Game... black uniforms, blue numbers with white outline. Of course the ALWAYS white helmet would have to be blacked out too.

Outline the letters and numbers in blue then okay, but otherwise you cant tell who anybody is.

 

Commentary would be a nightmare.

Coverage on our receivers may be a nightmare too. I personally don't care for them.

The uniforms now don't have that swagger. I don't think there is anything wrong with them.

Can't really complain about them. I think they could look A LOT better but I think they could also look worse. Might as well keep what ya got.

I wish they would add an alternate uniform though. Or just a helmet maybe!!!!! Not one to wear all of the time but something different to have some fun and show that this is a new team and we are going for the ship!

Let's go one further-  the all white motif versus the total blackout.  No numbers on the uni show up as visible until-

The NFL would never allow those uniforms because the numbers are not colored. I'm pretty sure it's a rule that the numbers and name have to be visible.

 

On the other side, I really like the Colts white jerseys and white pants uniforms.

Me neither.  I don't mind the throwbacks every once in a while but the Colts unis are classic.
