I'm happy at halftime. Most people judge preseason by the first half. It was VERY productive. Luck learned a few things too.

Well, it's nearly 3am here, I'll catch the 2nd half in the morning. That was just a terrific performance all round. It's not a reg season game, but those Steelers were right up for that.

I'm upping my prediction from 8-8 to 8.5-7.5 after that.

Luck really is the real deal.

Once the defense managed to settle down things have looked pretty good. Luck has shown why he is the number one pick with his ability to battle back from any mistakes, and overcome any adversity. Now it's the backups turn.

Luck is playing like he used to in college. Every time he makes a mistake, he leads the offensive on a scoring drive.

good first half. i think we did good on both sides of the ball considering where we are "expected" to be. some observations...

Fleener seems to be one of those catch and gets tackled in one hit type of players not a bad thing... but would like to see him break a tackle and get up field.

Ballard and brown will probably be our combo.

Brazill looks really good.

Sure we will hear about Lucks 2 ints but the way we bounced back is what should be the focal point.

On the Collie play, I can't believe nobody hasn't brought up that it should have a roughing personal foul for illegal shot to the head on a defenseless receiver. Yet another dirty illegal headshot on Collie. The guy should be fined, plain and simple.

I do like how TY Hilton got ticked after that bobble for an INT. It shows he knew he should've had it and he slammed his fist on the field. Much better than seeing a young rookie WR shrug it off like nothing happened.

Jeremy Ross was terrible there, that could cost him his job.

Yeah it looked like a rough play for sure. Unfortunately people probably will be gunning for him in that aspect for the rest of his career. Definitely sucks!
