Note that the 2 trades Bills did, they didn’t mind giving Day 3 picks and their number of picks stayed the same.

 

 I dont think teams are valuing late Day 3 picks much

True but the farther back you select, the greater chance the player will not be successful. My former GM Rick Spielman loved 6th and 7th Rd picks. While I liked him a lot, I did not like when he traded back so frequently. He was a lot like Ballard in many ways.

Getting 2 more draft picks in return for moving from 46 to 52 is pretty good.

Three of the guys I would of liked in this round are gone: Powers-Johnson, Lassiter, and Cooper. Maybe we can still get Junior Colson. There are a lot of really good players yet. lot's of O-line, linebackers. No need to panic people.

I laughed silently at all the mock drafts, that trade back and get extra 3rd round draft pick... Like, many guys wanting MORE, MORE day 2 picks by trading Down. 

 

Let the reality sink in.. you get picks in the range 140+...

 

Because, if a team tried to trade up, they'd give more. If Colts try to trade down, initiating the offer, the other team is gonna give their least favourite picks.
