  1. If nothing else, at least this brings closure to the whole saga.
  2. I like Cedric Grey too, possibly could be there in round 3. Good size, length and athletic. Cooper, Wilson and Nubin are my favourites in round 2.
  3. My sense is that the Colts have spoken with KC on trade compensation and Sneed’s reps in a contract. And they have parked negotiations at this point. Chappell is probably right, situation is fluid.
  4. Yeah Nubin looks a good shout as a BPA in the second round. But just wonder has he the speed to play as a single high FS. One of my favourites.
  5. There is a Chiefs account saying it’s donr too. A lot of smoke.
  6. Multiple accounts on Twitter are saying a deal got done over night. Fwiw
  7. Understood, but I just don’t get the sense that these reporters truely have good sources, or sources at all. If they did have contact with people in the building, I think we would have heard about Flacco or Davis beforehand. With that being said, I would be surprised if Ballard didn’t discuss a possible trade.
  8. I love how the whole of Colts Twitter have convinced themselves we’re signing Sneed because some fella called “Captain Colt” told them so. 🤣
  9. They probably like Mo as he is their best in-line blocker. Ogletree and Woods have showed a small bit of a potential but right now given their situations I don’t think the Colts can put all their eggs in that basket. I think if they cut Mo it’ll be after the preseason games if they think they have a good enough blocking tight end to take over.
  10. Shaping up to be like most other off-season under Ballard. Re-sign our own, few mid-tier and min vet signings. Build through the draft. Maybe this year we make the playoffs. But if not, and we have the same issues as last season, you’d have to think where we’re going with Ballard and his roster construction philosophy.
  11. Howard could interest Ballard if he thinks there is another year in him. Kind of like when he signed Rhodes.
  12. And Quandre Diggs gave his post the lookie eyes. Quandre Diggs would be my preferred signing at FS, so that would be cool.
  13. Would possibly mean they are open to trading Bosa.
  14. I'm not sure does anybody outside the organisation have sources. Nobody had the Raekwon Davis deal. It's easy saying they are going to re-sign their own and sign top-tier FAs. If a online account is releasing information beforehand on lesser known/mid tier FA deals, then those might be worth reading in to.
  15. I see were re-signing Ronnie Harrison. I'm OK with our situation at SS with Cross and Harrison. I thought Cross was good at SS when given the oppertunity, struggled against HOU in the last game, but that was at FS. But don't see much drop off from Blackmon to Cross. Harrsion is a solid backup. I'd like to sign a vet FS though.
  16. Davis is a starting calibre DT. Great depth to have behind Buck and Grove. We’ve a lot of cap invested in the interior of both the oline and dline now thou.
  17. Just wonder if Ballard is in discussions with fairly big name outside DB (Snead possibly) and that’s why we’re waiting on news with Kenny.
  18. Justin Simmons will be very expensive for a team to sign now.
  19. Is Byard’s contract a tad rich? For a guy just released. Understand he was once very good, but thats been a couple of years ago and he is in his 30s now. Was hoping the safety market would be cheap for us.
  20. One would have to think that Ballard will be strongly interested in one of these free safeties given the issues we had in the position last season. Especially considering that opening TD the Texans scored in that pivotal game at the end of the season. It’s such an important position in Bradley C-3 defense.
  21. Yeah I agree with that, his tape is good enough to be drafted somewhere in the 30s imo, high upside too.
  22. Watching Edgerrin Cooper, I don’t know if there is a more Ballard-y type player in the draft. Long, athletic, great closing speed, I just get the feeling if Cooper is there at 46, he’ll be at the top of the remaining players on Ballard’s big board.
  23. The market is looking strong now for DBs this year, which is good news for the Colts, who could do with some more vet experience in the secondary.
