Stroud will make this game personal because the Colts CHOSE not to move up just 2 picks to snag him! I hope the Colts win but I also HOPE that the Gus era will be over soon!! Giving up a 75 yd td pass on their very FIRST play is almost laughable given the MAGNITUDE of this game and with Nico Collins pretty much being their ONLY receiving threat with both Dell and Brown being out.

Why would the Texans even agree to trade with us? If they always wanted Stroud they would’ve ignored our offers

Or the Texans weren’t trading out of the number two spot, especially with a division rival but yeah somehow this is Ballard’s fault.

Started with a good run with Taylor and then three straight shows.  Sometimes Shane isn’t the genius fans make him out to be.

8 passes and 8 runs so far. What more do you want?

Makes zero sense.

See that’s the problem, it actually should have worked. First pass, Minshew overthrows a wide-open Pierce. Second pass, Minshew hits Mallory, he drops it. Third pass, Minshew overthrows an open Pierce and Smith holds. It’s the players, they’re aren’t executing.

Why is it 3 straight. What about mixing up the play calls in those 3 calls.

3 straight anything isn’t great. First drive ended on 3 straight runs. I agree we need to mix it up more.

    • For me, it depends on the pass rush and FS play.   im in the minority when it comes to our corners.  I think we have a solid group.  Not great, not bad, but solid.  However, I think they can look good with a good pass rush.  If Latu comes in and becomes a wrecker then our defense will be good.  If our pass rush looks like last year, then we’ll see the same thing as last year.  A good pass rush can make a bad defense look good.   for FS, we need better play.  A lot of people last year thought it was our corners, I thought it was the FS play.  I’m hoping we eventually put a vet back there but Ballard wants to evaluate what we have currently so we’ll see.  This cover 3 defense is dependent upon a good pass rush and good safety play.  We’ll need both for this defense to be good.   All in all, I’m hopeful.  I thought last year our defense was going to be absolute trash and it was better than I thought.  Can also thank a historic year of qb injuries for that, but hey, you play who you play.
    • I agree on offense. I think we'll need it with our defense which is currently very hard to evaluate.
    • This defense is a very big concern to me. I'm not sure we have the right mix of personnel, either on the field or in the coaching staff.
    • Sick of it as well. It seemed like the whole world wanted the NY too win and even picked them going into yesterday's game. We win fair and square by 21 points and some people want to poo poo it. I am not hearing it; sorry this homeboy doesn't play that. Take the L, NY, Pacers going to the Final 4.
    • Tired of hearing about what would have happened if the Knicks stayed healthy.  We played the same number of games as them and had a ton of energy yesterday.  Knicks got worn out and the more sustainable team won   GG everyone
