...a report last week indicated that a rotator cuff contusion could keep him out for multiple games.

Another report over the weekend said that Watson may return to face the Colts in Week Seven,

but Stefanski only said that Watson’s status will be monitored throughout the week...

I don't see how Indy moves the ball on offense against this top Browns defense unless they go back to running the ball well like they did against TN.

It sucks AR is injured because my friend who’s a Browns said they struggle with mobile QBs. I don’t see how the Colts get enough points without getting TOs in this one.

If Watson doesn’t play it will be a low scoring game. That will help. We have to see if he plays.

Think we can win this game. Cleveland is an up and down team. If Watson plays I’m not worried. We should know his tendencies. All comes down to the offense if we can establish a run game early. Defense needs to play with a lead for Gus to blitz more.

Colts win a low scoring game. We haven't lost 2 in a row yet all season, game is in Indy, and they have a putrid offense even with Watson. We get 2 key turnovers and that will be the difference, Colts 20 Browns 17.

I only say they score that much cause our offense without AR is pretty much last yrs offense and that won’t bode well for our defense considering they’ll be in the fortis for 70 mins

If we turn the ball over like yesterday, they could score 30. We were sloppy at Jacks.

Watson has been erratic this season. With PJ Walker they’ll probably simplify things and not take risky shots.

If we can establish the run game and open things up, I firmly believe we can beat them. Minshew will have to be perfect, and Gus will HAVE to dial up some blitz. No way we’ll stop them just rushing four every snap.

Yeah and they are 21st in offense. They only give up 15.4 points a game I get that, but only average 19 points a game. No way they beat us 38-13.

Let’s hold your breaks on that. They’re first 3 games were against a hobbled Burrow, a bad Steelers O and a worse Titans O. It’s still a good defense but all time with 5 games naw lol.

I am not buying it either. The Browns defense is nowhere as good or scary as in several of teams from the past. The 78 Steelers, 85 Bears, 86 Giants, 92 Cowboys, 2000 and 2006 Ravens, 2002 Bucs, 2003 and 2004 Patriots, 2013 Seahawks, 2015 Broncos - all better and it isn't even debatable. Several of the Philly teams when they had Reggie White were better defensively as well, they just didn't win the SB.

You do realize, when you say they have allowed the least amount of yards that they have only played 5 games, not 6. Also the only 2 teams they have played that has been good are the 49ers and Ravens. They gave up 28 points to the Ravens. When they played Cincy, Burrow was playing on 1 leg, so that is tainted.

I’m thinking somewhere around 16-13 as the score, most likely Browns winning, but you never know. 
 

Minshew needs to work with the receivers overtime this week and get the timing down.

Yeah for some reason, Cincy can't win in Cleveland, like we can't at Jacks. SMH.

Exactly. I do agree, they have a great defense but all-time wise it is a little early to tell how great. Like I said above, the Ravens put 28 on them.

I know it’s not a popular perspective, but I don’t want this team to win with Gardner Minshew. This season is a waste, and the best possible outcome is getting a high draft pick to surround AR with more talent.

Unfortunately, a tough defense. I believe scoring will be minimal for us. If Watson plays, the Browns will win this game handily. I don't expect a breakdown like last game, but for me, Steichen is in the mode where he has to prove he can learn from his mistakes.
