Nope. The Lions went for a rebuild and the Rams had to pay a high price.

Wentz, Jimmy G, Baker, those are what I would consider castoffs. Guys their team gave up because they wanted to get a better QB.

Didn't Jimmy go to a superbowl?

Mayfield Combine results:

Height:  72.6 inches

Weight: 215

Hands:  9.25

40 yard: 4.84

Ball Velocity:  60 mph (wow)

(that's near J Allen territory)

Ehlinger pro day: (no combine)

Height: 73.13 inches

Weight: 220

Hands: 9.75

40 yard: 4.84

Ball Velocity  N/A

No question about bakers arm strength. He needs to improve accuracy though. Didn't he also have three different offensive coordinators in 4 years. Tough to improve in those circumstances

I don’t believe the colts haven’t started talking to browns.

Or Lawerence is right. We will probably find out before the weekend is over.

I wish I would have kept track of every time you have been duped by twitter

Plus baker doesn't do the shuffle passes or does he lol

I think he has a lot of Russell Wilson in him really..Just got drafted into a %show... His floor is pretty high, you can win with him..Just my humble opinion..I think we may just get gifted something here...

I don’t think there’s enough cells in Excel to do that

What does that have to do with anything I said?

49ers don’t think he’s good enough, and they wanna get rid of him. Hence, considering him a castoff.

Steve Young

Jim Plunkett

Kurt Warner

And plenty of other castoffs have had superbowl wins.  Plus being a castoff from the browns actually gives me hope.  They get most everything wrong

Oh god...If we roll into next season with Jimmy G coming off of serious shoulder surgery I may be finally done with it all..lol.. How uninspiring is that? I would much rather just tank and start over completely..

looked up qb rankings, stats, pff, his team mates opinions of him...  Baker Mayfield is  worse than Carson in pretty much every way

Wentz got lucky on a lot of throws that SHOULD have been interceptions. That bomb to Hilton against the Raiders for example.

Get Baker some weapons and we can keep up scoring wise with every team in the AFC.

This is why I don't understand why any Colts fan would want him. He's a project. He has leadership issues. Didn't he also get into with the fans when he was booed? Sounds like Wentz to me. Might as well have kept Wentz for another year then.

Also, if Ballard did trade for him, he's in his 5th year option at $19 and he's going to want a big contract.

That's the point of getting Mayfield; you can try before you buy and simply let him walk next year, if he isn't good. But then, on the other side, if he figures it out, we can pay him on our terms.
