I am surprised we haven't thrown deep to Pittman at all with the arm Wentz has.

I had high hopes for Pittman this season, anything Campbell produces I'd have filed in the 'bonus' column. The Hilton injury wasn't helpful of course, but at least it forces us to look beyond him retiring.

IMO it was a horrible play call by Reich. We should have had more shallow crossing or flat guys.

Potentially, but the play had broken down and from what I saw WRs weren't coming back underneath as you'd expect.

 

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought the mantra was on broken plays you work back underneath to give the QB an out.

Don't think its the gameplay that is the issue, more like bad execution all around, I think we are seeing the results of so many starters out during training camp, offensive line is looking porous, and defense missing tackles. Luckily its all fixable

This was part of my frustration with the D last year. They’d let a team run up the score in the first half and then play better/make a big play in the 2nd half. Slow starts and inconsistent play is frustrating.
