Confused why does it say Baltimore contract nullified but that he was a Redskin?

He failed his physical with the ravens who already offered him a contract. They pulled the contract when he didn't pass said physical.

He played for the Redskins last year.

Sounds like the Ravens changed their mind

You know, I don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist or off the rocker, but I almost wonder if they failed him so they could get out of the deal.  It seemed like a terrible contract on its face from the outset and it was like he signed it and the Ravens said, "Uh oh, what do we do now?"  If that were ever true and the NFLPA got wind of it, it would be the next hailstorm of fire from the NFLPA.  Unlikely, but it would be a little entertaining.

There is a rumor that they want to go after Crabtree

If he failed a physical, why would we want to sign him?  Am I missing something?

If the Raven's didn't just tell the doc to fail him and he actually failed, just remember Drew Brees failed his physical for Miami, that is an outlier but still docs make mistakes sometimes about a players readiness.

I get that.  I think it should still make teams a little skeptical, especially at positions like wide receiver where they change direction a lot. But it's like they say...

They would rather have Crabtree so lol.
Good hands, decent route runner, a little twitchy. lacks speed and has smaller cajones.
We must have been the next highest bidder so Frank and staff must think he can fit a purpose.
I would expect his guaranteed $$$ to be in year one.

Crabtree does not have good hands. Drops as many passes as anyone, usually more.

Given the state of the Colts' WR corps, Grant would be a nice addition. In all honesty, sign Grant and maybe Jordan Matthews and a huge problem is solved. This team is close to desperation mode at this point. If they don't sign a decent WR or 2 soon, it will alter the draft in a negative way. Sign this guy.

And he's got a reputation as quite the diva.

Plus, I'm not trying to have anyone on our team that can't stop having his necklace snatched by Talib.
