Not a good start, but vontae did have good coverage. He lost his footing

Same crap, different year.  If Luck plays 16, this team might have a shot at 9-7, but as always, this team, outside the QB, is garbage.

How did the Cowboys with the best OL in the NFL get former top 1st rounder Jonathan Cooper? Why didn't OL-needy teams claim him off waivers when the Browns released him?

Abysmal CB play. Vontae got worked, but he'll be fine.

I can't for the love of god understand why the coaches think Melvin should start. They know what he is. He is not getting better. Just throw Wilson in there as he is young with potential to actually develop and be better.

He lost his footing because Dez put a move on him.

I don't know much about him, but it seems like he has an injury history.

With the exception of a few missed tackles the D did not look too bad

They couldn't stop the pass, and the Cowboys gained 5+ yards every time they ran the ball.

I must have missed the "not too bad" part.

Yeah, but he would have cost nothing. The Vikes and other teams could use him.

* off, Tolkien.

Sad excuse for a QB. Not having acquired a quality backup to Luck has my blood boiling.

True, but those teams probably don't want to bet on him. If he's injured again, they wasted money and they would have no better options. The Cowboys won't be hurt if he's injured because their O-Line is already really good.
