If you trade between the two teams you are managing, just try to make the trade reasonable and post it in the Trade thread. Otherwise the trade would be subject to the same veto option from other managers(if 2 or more managers object to it, the trade is nullified).

I would think allowing trades will really slow down the process.   Also,   trading into the first round would require giving up a large portion of this year's draft.  Most teams that trade into the first round without a first round pick this year usually requires trading next year's first

12 hours seems pretty long though.  it would be nice to get the whole thing done in 48 hours or less

 

also allowing trades with next years picks is a little odd.  we have no attachment what so ever to those picks, why not just trade them all since they dont matter beyond this thread?

I think it's common for draft day trades to include picks from the next year.

this reminded me of something that comes up in madden.  i can trade next years picks and not really even lose anything because we arn't going to play next year. 

 

its obviously a big risk in real life, but we have nothing to lose here.  i just wont do it unless a trend starts

Maybe we can limit the trades of picks from next year? Like... you can use only 1 pick from 2017 in trades. I would like to think that people would do only trades that make sense and won't spew their future assets for mediocre immediate return ... It all will be included in the evaluation at the end of the mock... I guess...
