I thibk Mathis will tackle Luck given the opportunity.  I doubt he pile drives him, even though Luck is strong and may only go down that way. I think Mathis will swat at the ball going by as well.  It's ingrained in his nature.

Mathis averages slightly over 1 sack per game. He'll be playing 1/2 of a game, and in the Pro Bowl, against the league's best O-linemen. Realistically, I'm not worried about Mathis coming after Luck.

 

I'm more worried about Luck throwing picks and making himself look bad in front of his peers.

Luck can be pretty hard to sack, though. You almost have to bring three to get him down. Remove all avenues of escape with overwhelming numbers.

I actually liked it more when they had the skills challenges, bench press and stuff like that. I remember Bob smoked them fools in the sprint and then tripped up in his last race. Dude had some wheels!

Mathis will try to sack Luck and he'll just bounce off him as Andrew strong arms his way away from the pressure.  Then Mathis can stand there and say to himself, "Okay, now I know what it feels like when Drew does that to other guys."
