I know this will sound crazy and although I miss Marvin and edge, manning without saying (greatest experience ever). I miss addai, when he was younger. Greatest blocker I've seen at running back. Never failed to pick up the blitz.

You don't think that these guys are "forgettable", do you?

  • 2 weeks later...

There's a name I haven't heard in ages.

Deaner was my favorite Colt as a kid...

When I was a kid I would spend hours kicking the football around the yard, choosing different objects to be the "field goal up-rights", two trees, over the swing-set, over the shed, etc. so I guess I just liked the FG kicker...

Not to mention Deaner was one of the best if not the best player on some of those early Indy teams...

Always wanted a Deaner poster for my room when I was a kid, bugged my parents relentlessly for one, unfortunately they could never find one...

Anybody got a Biasucci poster they're willing to part with to make my inner childs dream come true????

Jessie Hester !

Speed receiver drafted by the Raiders as a Cliff Branch replacement. Signed by the Colts (89 or maybe 90?) and played 3 years with the Colts with decent catch numbers (best year in the 50+ range). Led the Colts in catches 1 year I think.

This is truly a player I forgot.

I also remember that Salisbury Steak, (as Chris Berman would say) was a terrible anaylist..said something inappropriate, (can't remember what), got fired, and I never heard anything else about him ever since..It was like he fell off the face of the earth..

And don't forget about Mr gambler Art Schilcter..who was as bad a QB as he was a gambler..is he still in jail?

I believe Mr. Salisbury called John Clayton the Crypt keeper live on ESPN.

A true Colts fan should never forget players like Clarence Verdin and Bill Brooks.

Thanks Gandalf for the clarification..nice to hear from you again..

Oh..here's a good one..he really helped make our epic comeback in Tampa Bay possible...with a long 90 yard kickoff return..Brad Pyatt.

Not sure what its all about, but while searching, it seems he became president and CEO of a supplement company, that went bankrupt after ripping off a lot of people...I can find tons of videos and articles about that..but can't find the highlights of that great comeback anywhere...oh well..i would love to see that comeback again..if anyone can find it..please post it..thanks
