Flacco Time?

Recommended Posts

So many forum gm’s say Richardson will only learn playing. Then there is the, he didn’t get that much experience in college. That’s true, so why can’t he get even better experience practicing against nfl players for a year or two? Let Flacco play for a year or two and let the raw Richardson learn watching a nfl vet play. Too often teams rich qb’s and hurt their developement.

Because backups don’t get reps in practice the starters need them to prepare the game plan.

I'd play Richardson  unless the running  game picks up

AR problem is not playing the game. He is only going to figure out this awareness thing by playing.

If AR is healthy he starts. The injury is the Oblique on the side of his repaired shoulder, if that is not fully healed the pressure on the shoulder is much greater. How he moves around in practice does not reflect on the injury.  MLB pitchers are the most common oblique injuries and typically can be long healing processes. In the NFL it is quicker recovery unless a tear is present ( Carr) guessing next week back for AR.

Trade Richardson at the deadline for whatever you can get at this point. He is either going to be an injury bust or he just has no interest in playing. I'd take a 2nd round pick for him at this point and cut our losses. Really starting to dislike Richardson. Crappy attitude towards the fans, towards improving his game (the sliding), and he can't stay on the field. Glad I didn't buy his jersey.

Normally I would argue with you on this. Um... I don't think I can at this point.

Do you and other Colts fans understand that he didn't play alot in college because he was always injured?

Every week it was a new injury.

Why would that change in the NFL ?

I will say it again. AR gives colts best chance to win when he is healthy.

They need to use him like a sled dog. Make him play every snap. Make him the run game, 100 plus carrys and 40 throws a game. He either makes it or goes out in a blaze of glory. Then after 5 years and hopefully 16 starts, there will be enough film on him to evaluate.

Because his o-line was always bad. He is a good boy. He had a flat tire and couldn't make it. Rest in peace Chloe will give you some excuses. Yes, in Gainesville they would escort him to make sure he did not trip over the cracks in the sidewalks on the way to gym and home economics classes.
