I agree with the over hyping without showing much yet, but the minshew stuff is just crazy. Saying Richardson is a bust is as bad as the hyping. All players take time to show what type of player they will be.

if he is forced to play, you just have to adjust the offense to more rushing, play action passing, and keeping a te in to block on passing plays. If the colts get a te that can block, like I have said they need, they have the pieces to be successful playing with Flacco.

Buckner had Henry by the leg behind the line of scrimmage and then Franklin pushed him backwards. That was Buckner’s great play!

he is pat angerer. I said it about pat years ago when everyone else here was on that bandwagon and have been saying the same thing about Zaire. They both get tackles 5 yards down field, and Zaire has a good line in front of him! I want better, I don’t have a problem having him as a backup, so I wouldn’t have given him the extension. Time will tell.

Love the signing! I didn’t want minshew back at all. When I saw Flacco playing with the browns, I thought why didn’t the colts sign him instead of minshew. I was thinking he retired and was done with football. Richardson will learn a lot from him! They both have big arms and Flacco can help him learn how to complete passes down field. I didn’t see anything minshew could help him with! The colts have a good line and running game, I think the colts can win if he has to play qb as long as they don’t keep trying the rpo if he is playing.

The colts need te’s that can block, they don’t have to be top receivers. When you pay a rb franchise money and have a running qb you need to run a two te offense and they have to be good blockers. I have never liked granson.

my problem with Franklin is most of his tackles are 5 yards down field and he can’t cover anyone. That just doesn’t cut it and is the same things I said about pat angerer, and that wasn’t at all popular here back then. I want lb’s that can shed blocks and make plays around the line of scrimmage. The colts haven’t had many of them over the years.

I want to replace Franklin, just don’t see him being a play maker, I don’t have a problem with speed or Harrison. That means we should bring in two that hopefully can start or be situational players.

If Richardson is as good as a lot of people here think, the reciever’s, rb’s, and o-line will all look much better just like all top qb’s do. I would concentrate more on defense in the draft.

The best pressure kc got was when they sent some kind of blitz. Not many teams get quick pressure without blitzing. A top offense can usually account for a top pass rusher it there isn’t a blitz or a threat of one. I would rather see more blitzes as opposed to a top pass rusher. The colts d-line is fine but the lb’s need a lot of improvement! That’s where I want the colts to use some higher draft picks, probably trade out of the first for more picks.

Yes! I said this back when manning was here when a lot of contracts were up and I felt the colts were over paying some players, and it wasn’t very popular here!

right now no one is a dynamic receiver as long as they have a second hand qb that doesn’t have the arm or instinct to be able to throw the deep ball. Hopefully Richardson has BOTH those qualities and then the colts will really know what they have at the wr position. It’s just not fair to make wr judgements playing with the qb’s the colts have had recently.

all sports have changed the rules to encourage a lot more offense! That makes it impossible to compare players by stats. There are greatest of their era, not really greatest of all time.

I completely agree. I think he will sign a reasonable contract with the colts, below what most here think. The colts will take a shot at a receiver in the middle rounds also. There are always a lot of receivers coming out every year because of the trend to passing offenses in college now.

A win is a win no mater when it was. Every team has to deal with adversity of some kind during a season that doesn’t mean you take wins and losses of the record.

That’s what can happen when you upgrade the qb position. That’s why I have been saying the colts don’t have to get a top wr, let’s see how things go with what is hoped will be a big upgrade at qb first.

I don’t think he is the same caliber player as those players.
