Not my fav player but I always try to see what he is doing when the Titans play...is Nick Westbrook-Ikhine because he is married to my good friend's cousin!  He played at I.U.

But I was one of those that wanted Will Levis here so I kind of follow him.  He is a wild man! lol

I definitely wanted Levis here! (But I’m a Penn St fan and watched him there before he transferred).  I believe that, in five years, he and AR will be the same good NFL QB, but for now- I see Levis as 2-3 yrs ahead of AR in development.  Had the Colts drafted Levis, I believe we’d be challenging for the AFC South Title.

As to the Titans- our home is divided. I’ve been a Colts fan for more than 65 yrs! My Youngest and his Children  are a Titans family. Lots of discussion when we play each other!

Then you are better than me. I thought Levis would bust.  But I have to say I was wrong with him.  I thought Stroud was the best of the bunch.  I am not sold on Young because he had stud WR at Bama.

Levis still can bust

I think everyone understands the description differently.

This whole forum is for Colts fans. I don't think categories are separated based on whether a topic is related to Colts fans or not.

Categories are differentiated based on whether the topic is Colts related or not.

The topic definition of "NFL General" says

If it's NFL and it's NOT COLTS, it goes here

As this topic is about NFL and "Non-Colts Players", it has to be in NFL General, by definition.

but its not., because im talking to colts fans, which is colts related.

Jason Witten

Currently Jalen Hurts. Only bc I despised how the reporter who asked him seconds after the game how it felt to be benched in the national championship and his Tua went out and got the win.  He answered with class but you could tell he couldn’t believe they chose that moment. He stayed at Alabama and didn’t transfer until he graduated and came in and won the SEC championship game for them. I think he is a total class act and glad he has the success he has.

Was easy 3 years back when Jets had 11 former Colts on roster at the same time.

I was going to say that too but I figured I would get buried in here for saying so. To me by my eye test, only Tom, Montana, and Peyton have played the position better. Mahomes is exciting to watch and he is great. Aaron Rodgers is my 1b. To me Aaron is a top 10 QB of all-time.

Top 10 of all-time or top 10 of your time?

I would say my time definitely that is since 1977 when I first started watching at 6 years old. Even if you included Unitas and Graham which is all-time, Rodgers would still be top 10 IMO. He has won 4 League MVP's and a SB + his stats are great. Hard to keep him out of the top 10. Not to mention his talent. I go by their play not who I like. So, I am not biased when doing a QB list. A lot of people hate Rodgers but that has nothing to do with his play.

I have Peyton 3rd and Unitas 5th, all-time. FWIW. You may have different opinions and that is fine. I would love to see your top 10 list, just to get a different perspective. .

To add to this, I watched most of the great QB's of the 70's and despite Bradshaw winning 4 SB's, he isn't in my top 10. He is more top 15ish to me. Great but was on loaded teams with arguably the greatest defenses of all-time.

I'm a big 49ers guy as my "secondary team".  After we got Luck, I started watching Stanford on Saturday nights and got a full dose of CMC.  I've been rooting for him ever since.  I also love Deebo, Kittle, Aiyuk, and now I find myself on the Purdy bandwagon.  They're eating over there in SF, that's for sure.

I have found myself rooting for Levi’s because of all the people here picking apart everything he does just to justify their infatuation with Richardson. Richardson COULD be good, but as of now there is no question who is better now. It’s fun to watch him and purdy play.

I love Mike McDaniel lmao…

I have been getting into watches lately and my cousin said he has a really super duper expensive one. I seen a glimpse of it and it looked Huge.

My favorite players are Joe Cool..... Kittle.....and still Aaron Rogers. I like Lamar Jackson too, I've never seen a player so slippery.... Henry too.

I don't know if Levis is or will be better than AR5. But he will be at the very least a very solid QB and has the arm talent to be very good in the near future imo. They both right now are looking up to Stroud while Bryce Young is looking up to everyone. :funny:

    • It isn't about being a Homer, Nelson is still a great player. Name 5 guards better than him out of the 64 starting Guards in the league. I'll wait.
    • It's just an article. A lot of posters come here to make points.   The topic one could conclude, suggests there are Homer's.    Perhaps one Homer concludes from this that maybe, it's possible, Nelson isn't any longer an All-Pro and hasn't been for three years.   I would say that if he did play like he did before he got paid, he would be more reliable in short yardage, and that could inch us closer to 11 wins.  I'll be watching him close, as I Always watch our line a lot in slow-mo. Watching Lombardi's Packers OL as a kid just hooked me on line play.    Anyone interested in CB Play? https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-pff-cornerback-rankings-top-32-ahead-of-the-2024-nfl-season
    • Me too.  Now that it’s over and coupled with Scott’s unfortunate injury I can see an acquisition taking place before camp.  If Simmons signs with a team first I could really see the signings pick up for the safety position.  Hopefully Ballard signs his first choice if he’s going for a FA.  Now with Scott gone I think he will do something.
    • Fields at 5'9" and 29" arms  well lol. He did a great job at the level he played in.   Slykwa was Div. 3 and has a legitimate shot as a developmental practice squad guy.
    • Hats off to Doris Burke being the 1st women to be an analyst in NBA Finals game. Having said that, my nick-name for is Doris 'Knicks-Celtics lover' Burke. She is way over the top with her East coast bias. She was heartbroken when we beat NY and she loves the Celtics. Every time the Celtics do something great, she acts like slice bread was invented  .   I did put money on Dallas to win the Championship but if I lose, I lose. Pacers beating NY in Game 7 at NY to advance to the Final 4 was my Championship. Watching Stephen A. Smith cry like a baby was priceless. Nobody picked us, the media raked us through the coals, said we were nothing. Their fans were chanting 'we want Boston after going up 2-0', so to break that city's heart and all those celebrities made my whole summer. Next season I will expect more from the Pacers, to be back in the Final 4 again and I will expect them to be more competitive, but we way overachieved this season.
