There's been good half time shows, though. Production wise anyway (performances often stink).

I don't know anyone that started performing after the mid-90s. I have told this story many times. A few years, someone performed in the Super Bowl and I told my sister that I did not know the performer. I told her, "You know I don't know these new singers". She replied, "Missy Elliot is not new." She told me not to tell anyone else that. She said everyone knew that singer. I had never heard of her. I like 70s and 80s music.

The last several years of halftime shows have been bad, but at least they were all high-energy. The Weeknd felt like taking melatonin
