Everyone expects rookies to be an all pro their first season. Mack wasn’t doing much his first season, and this is literally the 7th game of the season. Relax and give the kid time. Wisconsin runs the ball WAY differently than we do. He’ll get it figured out.

I expect more out of rookie RBs than other positions ... especially highly drafted ones who come with as much hype as JT ... Mack was a late 4th.

Even when JT get the holes inside he doesn't hit them half the time, can't see the cutbacks/improvise, and gets arm tackled on first level way too much ... I am not writing him off yet, but not as advertised and so far I am not impressed with him.

He just needs time. Coming from a very different system. He'll get his timing down. The over-rotation of RBs hasn't helped that development either.

I mean with this years lack of preseason, to learn our offense and a new running style its gonna take time. I also believe they are limiting his carries so he doesn't hit the rookie wall.

Hopefully, because there were a lot of good players in that area he was picked.

Hopefully, would love to see him turn out to be as advertised. He will need to make a big jump his 2nd year.

I'd like to see more power-man blocking from us. I think that would help him a ton. I'm actually a little surprised that haven't gone power with Burton as the FB leading.

It took Mack a year to get his timing down.
