Says the player the Colts are trying for is a veteran free agent and not a trade target.

 

There are names tossed about by the writer, but those are speculation....

 

Irsay also says he likes the WR's on the team...    He's not sure Hilton is a #2 yet,  he'd like to see Brazil work harder,  and that Whalen is more than a FA,  thinks he might be 'special'....

To me, Randy Moss, Devery Henderson, Brandon Lloyd, Joshua Cribbs, Braylon Edwards lead the vet WR category.

 

But the one most likely to take a lot of time signing on the dotted line, if I had to guess, would be Randy Moss.

I too think DHB would be ok. He's young w/ speed. He always played with junk QBs. A change of scenery could help him blossom. If he doesn't, send him packing. And I've never heard of him being a bad teammate like Titus.

Avery's best year is worse than DHB best year & Avery was playing w/ a better QB & overall offense/coaches. DHB isn't perfect but his size/speed is interesting w/ a change of scenery.

D. Moore is doing well on the Raiders. The team has nothing to do with it. They have no WR's & Heyward-Bey got cut, he's just not good. It's really nothing else to say about it. If we bring him here, he's gonna be the same person then all year everyone is gonna complain about him constantly dropping passes. I'd rather take a WR from this draft

Yes it is. DHB should have been a second rounder, drafted after Crabtree and Maclin. And everyone knew it at the time.

Robinson seems like a solid option as well. He was pretty good in Dallas. I'm not sure how he played in Jacksonville.
