Colts can still win the division? [Merge]

They can it's just unlikely. I really don't see us winning two games against the Texans in three weeks plus have them lose another game (even with New England on the schedule) when to this point they have only lost once all year.

i agree theyd have to have major melt down for that to happen

I think the texans lately have be looking like there defensive hasn't been as strong, yes the are still very good, but look the would have lost to Detroit if it wasn't for their coach. Also look at them against the jags they almost lost. So it a long shot but it could still happen. We might be able to the texans.

Let's not get carried away. We are playing lights out, but the Texans are still better than us. We will compete there is no doubt about that, but we only have two games left that we actually stand a very good chance of winning.

Houston fans are starting to get concerned about this very possibility after seeing Luck beat the Lions today.

Yeah it's not like we beat them too or anything.

I love when people take one game out of the whole year and try and apply it to the season as a whole. Get real. :slaphead:

The Texans have lost 1 game so far this season. I don't think they're going to lose 3 of the next 4 and get swept by us lol. But heck, I'd just be happy to be in the playoffs! Hopefully the Ravens keep losing because between them and the Pats/Broncos I think we have the best shot of upsetting them.

Its possible but I expect Houston to do what NE did to us honestly in the game that will most likely be meaningful. Maybe not quite as a bad because Houston isnt a pass heavy team like NE so the score will be lower. But I expect them to dominate us honestly. I think if Houston has everything wrapped up in week 17 well win that game.

Also as others have said...the chance Houston drops 3 of the next 4 is highly unlikely.

But well see.

If the Patriots beat Hou next week

Colts beat the Texans x2 + chiefs + titans

Colts = 12-4

Hou = 11-4 with 1 more game

they can tie and colts own tiebreaker right

And if frogs had wings they wouldn't smack their butts when they landed after a jump....

Yeah anything is possible but I'm savoring the taste of a playoff game so don't pour on the pepper.

I doubt it happens guys even though I would love to see it lol. Even if the Texans lose in NE I think it's bad timing for us too, we go to Houston next after that game, Ugh. It's not impossible to win in Houston but we have a better shot to beat them at home and even that game might be for homefield for them for all we know. It also might be for either the 5th or 6th for us too.

However, todays win made things much easier for a WC spot. If we take care of business at home vs. TN and at KC we are golden. And not to get cocky but we really should beat TN at home and KC on the road....the team knows this too.

Todays miracle win was huge. It takes the pressure off in case beating Houston once had/has to happen......

Hey look on the plus side. We have two winning teams in the AFC South. This division gets so laughed at but I don't know why. ;)

It is mathematically possible....but its still mathematically possible for the Jets to beat us out of the last playoff spot, too.

Neither is at all likely
