I was watching a video and it got me thinking about one year wonders we have had

Vick Ballard would be mine, man those injuries really did him in but I thought he was going to be a great pairing with Luck.

I’ve gotta go with Eric Ebron

Not for performance reasons but for health reasons, with a sad recollection, may I say Austin Collie?

Great 2009 as a rookie, and then came 2010 season, and he was never the same after those concussions. Maybe a 1.5 year wonder???

That’s who I was trying to remember. Yes I’d count him as well

Man that's a hard choice......

Hank Baskett or T-Rich ?

One year wonder means they’d have to at least have one stellar year, neither of those did.

now, if you wanna talk the biggest busts, yeah they’re up there

That would DEFINITELY be Richardson - AND - the GM who traded for him!!

But Wentz is a very very very close 2nd.

1a  and 1b

Be sure to clarify that you are referring to Trent Richardson, not Anthony Richardson. :)

1 year wonderer is someone who was great/or very good for 1 year here. Neither one of your choices measure up. Trent sucked and Wentz was average.

Philip Rivers in 2020 would be a great choice. My OP, I said Eric Ebron in 2018.

I know him. He played around when Vick Ballard and Ahmad Bradshaw were here, no?

He was not a "wonder". :)

Of all that I have read, Ebron fits best. He was great one year and Colts fans loved him. The following year he was a pariah. Fans could not wait to get rid of him..

I listed Ebron. He fit the bill perfectly.

Let's go back to Colts one-year wonders.

The guy that quit in the middle of a game in Buffalo, did he have multiple great years for the Colts? He is a CB whose brother was a TE for the Niners. Can't recall his name. He may have had multiple great years.

I don't know if anyone will ever top Trent "rolling ball of butcher knives" Richardson if you're talking about trade blunders. At least Wentz was semi-decent for a minute (except when it really counted.)
