He literally touched Foles at least twice while making the grass angels.  Regardless, one of his teammates should have stopped him.  I would also have been fine with a Colts offensive lineman spearing him in the solar plexus.

I was getting food and saw that on the television monitor. Foles did not appear to be hit that hard but he appeared to be shaking on the field. It made me turn away.

What is the update on Foles?

That’s not a concern. At all.  Regardless of fan opinion, Jim has a high favorable opinion in the league.

How can you possibly know it’s not a concern? A prospective candidate will see a mid season firing, admitted involvement (to some extent at least) of QB decisions, and we’ve one win to show for it since then.

Dumpster fires can be fixed. Poor reputations take longer. I hope you’re right but there’s no way for us to know.

Haven't seen one but I'm guessing ribs.

Tbf AK, Giants know this is over and they’re in the playoffs. This entire 2nd half is basically garbage time.

yeah but their defense still doesn't want to give up points, nor are they in prevent yet. that was a legit 8 minute drive.

Foles wasnt doing anything regardless. at least we look alive with sam out there

I’m guessing he took a shot to the solar plexus. That’s a paralyzing shot.  Takes your wind and leaves you convulsing to get air in.

30 point leads (to anyone other than the colts this year) is a pretty safe bet. Prevent mode for the giants.

they were not in prevent.

You guys realize that the Giants defense is significantly more passive than it was before the game was decided, right?

you basing that on what? they were not in prevent.

Because one, Jim is known to give coaches a length opportunity to be successful. Jim didn’t break this team. Unless you’re a Wentz Stan. There isn’t anything he had done to create this disaster of a roster.

Carson about to take commanders to playoffs. I still can’t help but laugh.

Isn't 17-7 Browns and he has 2 or 3 INT's? Also Lions and Packers are the hot teams right now. If Commanders lose this game, Lions and Packers both win today. Next week is win and in for Lions at Packers game, Commanders eliminated.

Edit* Seahawks need to lose also to set up that situation.

    • I have read numerous scouts and they had him ranked as the  #3 WR in the draft based on talent. I loved the pick but let's not fool ourselves, there is something that made him drop to the 2nd. I am not going to say it is character and/or lack of production. Ballard can go on his rant all he wants, but there was a reason. If he succeeds and becomes a legit #1, then we will wont care. My guess is if he fails to live up the hype, then we  it will leak out why he never reached his full potential. At this point, I couldn't care a less, as I loved the pick at the time and it was the Colts taking a chance with some questions about Mitchell. The one thing I did not like was Ballard going on his rant is he should have just kept quiet and said we like he player. Him going on a rant leaves him open to criticism if for example Mitchell does not work out and say it comes out that he has a poor attitude, work ethic etc.
    • Actually,  I don't think you can really say who is the #2. I think, they actually want Pittman to be relegated to that role as they are hoping that Mitchell or Pierce can finally assume that take the top of the defense  #1 wr.  I don't put to much stock in Mitchell unseating Downs as they play to different positions. Downs is the slot and Mitchell is hopefully that legit #1 that the Colts have never had. So in saying, Mitchell will not be unseating Downs, as they will be asked to do different things. I think the Colts are just hoping to have that legit #1 guy and then everyone else can play the role they were drafted for. If Mitchell or Pierce break out, you will see the ball spread out to the remainder of the WR's and TE's.
    • Keep in mind, with drops, it has always been very subjective to whether it was a “drop” or not. Which is why the rates vary so much
    • That is about how much I heard he might get. I am glad it is over and we are not waiting for the other shoe to drop (leave in FA or choose not to play).   Now, all the pressure is on him to perform
