We, the Chiefs, need to reload. We're not riding into the season with our hopes riding on Mecole, Juju, Vlades Scantling, and whatever remains of Josh Gordon.

This night has gone fast. After @RNGDShobby makes the last selection for the first round, we will start the second round, as I would like to get 3 full rounds in this week. Most members are not available on weekends. We can continue with the 4th round on Monday.

What do you all think?

    • One last word, once again I never said they will lose their QB. Burrow will play the next 10 years in Cincy IMO, I was talking about his contract he is about to get.
    • It was actually top notch.  Jim had access to information you jokesters haven't a clue about. Including Franks assessments regarding what he could do. Frank was a dumpster fire by the end of last season and i have little doubt if Irsay hadn't Extended his contract, that he would have Fired his ____ butt after last season.  You have an opinion about Saturday that is yours, and the Owner knows what he knows. Saturday was the ONLY person he considered to intervene at that time, and several team leaders spoke up for him including Buckner and Leonard.   It is ridiculous and laughable when these naysayers point fingers at Jeff for how bad Gus's defense played at times.   Then they complain about Jeff's quarterback carosel. The players wanted Ryan so he did that. Then he went with the next veteran who was brought here to BE THE BACKUP. He stank, thank you Frank. Then we finished with a decent showing from the kid.  The Absolutely GREAT thing was our LT improving by leaps and bounds, proving himself week after week against the leagues best. And we have many knowledgeable (haha) fans continuing to GM saying, well uh, we still need to get him some competition ya know. bla bla.  It is useless trying to explain how successful Saturday was by coaching THE TEAM harder, reintroducing the accountabity that Frank had allowed to slip away. I think Frank sensed Irsay was sick of his nonsense and firing the OC was definitely a way to lessen the likelihood. lol  In the end Irsay stepped up big and got Frank out of the building and gave his TEAM a firey leader to raise moral and to better hold them accountable.  It was just what needed to happen under the Circumstances.   And it is plain as day!
    • Looks like Colts plane is at the Senior Bowl. Wonder when they are interviewing Steichan. Is that irsays jet or just the colts plane?
    • Remember this is the Jim Irsay era where records and experience are a relative thing. Although they got better in the second half of they year, the Colts interviewed Lions DC Aaron Glenn. The Lions defense ranked 32nd (last) in yards allowed and tied for 31st in points allowed with the Colts.
    • Usually it's a player who aces the whole process and big part of the remaining process is the Senior Bowl and athletic testing at the combine... So... I would guess a player who is invited to the Senior Bowl and might surprise with elite testing numbers.    The player that immediately comes to mind is Will McDonald from Iowa State. He was no. 5 on Bruce Feldman's freak list and had 13 sacks this season and for some reason he's still not caught much of a national hype.    Another option - Luke Musgrave. I think with good pre-draft process he might end up a 1st round TE.
