I can see this same situation unfolding for the Colts....except it'll be the fans not AR12 :D

Many people are so certain Ballard is picking a WR first. Be prepared, lets see how the draft shakes out but i can see several scenarios which would make our GM go another route. If a guy they like falls and he isnt a QB, they're picking him 1st, even if it's at QB

Let me put it this way - I am not missing the end of the 1st round. If they love any of the QBs and he's still there, I absolutely expect Ballard to trade up to get him. :goodluck:

Who do you folks like for the Cards and Bucs? I will need suggestions later.

QB for Bucs?

Cards? Offensive lineman?

I say Linderbaum for Cards and probably interior Oline for bucs too.

Looks like I will be making those picks. No one wishes to pick for them. @shasta519 had expressed interest but I have not heard back from him/her.

Welcome everyone to the second day of the 2022 Gavin Mock Draft. We will continue with the first round and start the 2nd Round.

Each GM will have ten minutes to make a selection and announce the player. If the GM fails to do so, the next GM can jump and make a pick for his/her team. If any GM misses a pick by the end of the draft day, we can all make pick for that team at the end of the night.

Didn't @Zoltanhint he wanted to pick the guy who already broke all the records for Pittsburgh already. I think he was referring to QB Kenny Pickett.

He wrote: To give a hint at my pick for the Steelers, it is almost to perfect to not choose a player that's already broken records in Pittsburgh.

@Archer You are on the clock for the Patriots.

I think I’m on the clock now.

At #21, the New England Patriots select Boye Mafe, EDGE, Minnesota.  Thought about blowing up my draft plan for Penning, but BB’s gonna pick up the best front-7 player for his system…

Time for us to pick for the Arizona Cardinals.

Most Urgent need for cardinals is CB for them, EDGE rusher or any front seven position will help. I think it will be luxury to draft offense here, maybe a C or OG/OT if suitable.

They can't have Chris Ballard

They lost Chandler Jones, i think they will look closely at edge rush

I think its because alot of players from Iowa eat huge amounts of corn

Nah, I like Kyler. Get him some protection

Okay, time to make the pick.

With the 23rd pick of the 2022 Gavin Mock Draft, the Cardinals draft

Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa.

Question for long time draft viewers:

Who were some of your favorite NFL Prospects?

I recall this site loving Andrew Billings. Is he still in the NFL?

My favorite ever:  Philip Rivers out of NC State.

    • It’s one practice.    One.    And from one practice you’ve extrapolated that this will be a problem all season long and we’ll miss the playoffs.    All from one practice.    I think you’re reading way too much into way too little.   Is it possible you’re right?  Sure. But it’s not likely.       OL play is typically slow to come around.   It takes time to gel.    Whatever the line is today, it should get better over time.    It started slow last year when injuries hit 4 of our 5 starting lineman.  But eventually the line gelled and Taylor ran for 1800 yards.   Remember?    This year we have two new starters on the line.   It’s going to take time.  Give it time.
    • Im not a big fan of responding to a post with a mountain if stats, but these are pretty simple and straight forward.   Matt Ryan has 100 completions in 12 practices of 11 on 11 drills.   Thus doesn’t include 7 on 7 or any other drills, just 11 on 11.    Here’s how the receptions breakdown:   1.   Pittman    30 2.  Granson   14 3.  MAC.         13 4.  Taylor.        11 5.   Hines.       10 6.   Campbell.  8 7.    Pierce.       5 8.   Dulin.         4 9.   Ogletree.   3 10.  Patmon.    1 11.  Coutee.     1   That's 100 receptions.   Campbell is right in the middle of the group.   And 4 of the 5 WRs with fewer receptions are behind him.  PC is NOT having a quiet camp.   This is misinformation and bad analysis.   About 10 days ago fans here were predicting Granson wouldn’t make the 53.   How does that look now?    Could PC get cut?   Sure.  But it’s a long shot.
    • Classy reaction from the kid. Best of luck in your recovery!
    • It’s his contract year and the Colts need all the WRs they can get.  You are right they aren’t going to move him.  If he doesn’t work out this year they will just simply let him walk at the end of the season.
    • While it’s good to hear I think this would only really be news if they didn’t dominate the Lions defense.
