  1. If Stroud is still available I am breaking the world record to get to the stage to announce him as THE guy
  2. With doubts existing re the top QB in the draft I wonder if Ballard is looking at the possibility of trading for Lamar. With Lamar, you know what you're getting, and it's probably better than any of the draft prospects--just depends on what it would cost (probably 2 1st rd picks)
  3. My thought is that none of the QB options are without risk--no 1 guy stands out to me as worth trading up for, and by waiting at 4 we still get a potential franchise QB. I would wait at 4 and take the best available guy.
  4. The fact that there are so many people suggesting any 1 of the 4 guys tells me that none of them are worth selling the farm
  5. My view is that I would not trade up. There are probably 4 guys who stand out as top QB prospects--Young, Stroud, Richardson and Levis. Not one of these guys is a Manning or Luck type guy--the guy you just have to have. They each have areas of concern, and I can't see that one guy is such a standout that you need to give picks and/or players away to secure one before the others. I would hope that Stroud falls to us, but if he doesn't, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. I'd even consider going OT with pick 4 and then trade up to get someone like McKee with the 2nd pick, although I know that's not going to happen.
  6. Titans' picks were: 18) Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss 131) Josh Jobe, CB, Alabama 143) Max Mitchell OT Louisiana
  7. Jacksonville ended up with: 1:1--Ikem Ekwonu OT North Carolina State 2:1--Arnold Ebiketie, EDGE, Penn State 3:1--Darian Kinnard, G, Kentucky 3:6--John Metchi III, WR, Alabama 3:24--Cade Otton, TE, Washington
  8. Really enjoyed the experience, and I think the Jags did pretty well--was a bit worried Otton would be picked before my pick. Can imagine how stressful it could be for a GM if they have their heart set on a particular player and have to sit and wait until they can pick--they may want to trade up, but to do so, you need a team that is prepared to trade back. I don't have another pick until rd 6 I think, so I'm OK with whatever decision is made re continuing.
  9. Jags are still interested in moving up a few places. We now have picks #88, 188, 197, 222, & 235 Trade value, that equates to pick #82--if you're in that area, and interested in trading back, send me a message
  10. Jags and Cowboys have agreed on a trade. Jags get pick #88 Cowboys get picks #106, #157, #180 and #198
  11. Sorry for missing my pick--can't believe how long it can take to tell someone that their stop was 30 minutes ago. Anyway, the Jacksonville Jaguars select John Metchi III WR Alabama. I realise he did an ACL, but he will prove a great target next year for Lawrence
  12. Jags are ready to go. Still feeling the need to protect our Franchise QB. With pick #65 the Jacksonville Jaguars select Darian Kinnard OG Kentucky
  13. OK folks, it's 3.00am here, and I'm just about to go off to work and will be unable to make my pick for the Jags at the correct time, so here is pick #1. I don't think this is the guy the Jags will pick, but he's the guy I would go for. Last year they picked their Franchise QB and, as Colts fans will testify, there is a major need to keep him upright. Therefore, with pick #1 of the 2022 Gavin Mock, the Jacksonville Jaguars travel to North Carolina State and select: Ikem Ekwonu OT
