Myles Gaskin's well-rounded resume has always impressed me, can run and catch. If he were 10-15 lbs bigger, he might be a certain Day 2 pick. Now, there is a small chance he slides to Day 3. I would not mind drafting him with our 4th at all.

James Williams is incredibly well-rounded back. He played in a system that practically never runs the ball and still had 12 TDs in his last season running the ball... he also had 84 catches for over 600 yards and 4 TDs as a receiving back in his senior season... again those are a bit inflated because of the offense he played in... but... it does show he can catch the ball and he was relied to catch the ball. If he's available in the 5-7th round... I'd pick him without much hesitation..

I really like the idea of drafting someone like Charles Omenihu in the 2nd round. He could be an ideal replacement for Jabaal Sheard as that LDE that sets a strong edge, he is outstanding against the run, has great power and length. There is good upside too as a pass rusher, he has good get-off, motor, long arms and came bend pretty well for a big guy. Looking forward to see how he tests.

He looks similarly rangy too... he doesn't have the same type of insane production coming out of college, but that's why he won't be drafted in the early second most probably. Lets see how he tests this weekend... 

 

Edit: I just checked his statsheet for the season - he actually does have pretty good stats - 94 tackles, 7.5 TFL, 3.5 sacks, 5PD, 2 FF... why is he not being talked about more in draft conversations? @NewColtsFan give us more on Okereke. What are the worries about him and what do you think are his best attributes?

In construction it's a 16th, apparently for the cattle call of the combine it's an 8th.

No. By all accounts he's a very impressive young man with great work ethic and his teammates seem to love him too(I've heard several interviews of Ole Miss players heaping praise on him). 

 

The biggest knocks on him are his injury that cut his season short(medicals will be important, but reportedly he's been cleared for football activity already and he will participate in all the tests and on-field drills. The other knock on him is - limited production and limited route tree.

If Butler runs anything under 4.5, he won't be there for us at No.59. You can't teach size and the punishing attitude that he plays with.

Honestly wasnt high on WR at 26 but I agree now seems the D players that could fall have questionable traits like size and struggles in Run D

Kaden Smith comes out a year early and runs the slowest time of any tight end.    For a smart Stanford guy, he sure made a dumb decision.

Fant is faster than Ebron(4.51 vs 4.60). I don't think I'd draft him because I think there is a good chance there will be someone else I like better or about the same at a more premium position. BUT... if we did draft him, I would absolutely be cool with it. I think he's an elite talent at the position. 

 

BTW I don't think they do the exact same things. I think Fant is a much better blocker. He's not liability on blocking downs like Ebron. I think Fant can do similar things to Ebron as a weapon while having reliable hands AND being able to actually be used on running downs. He's definitely not dominant run blocker, but IMO he's OK at it.
