Colts playoff scenarios

Colts win division:

    Scenario 1.

1.)Colts win all three remaining games

2.) Houston loses two of their remaining games 

3.) Tennessee loses one of their remaining games.

 Scenario 2.

1.) Colts win 2 oof their 3 remaining games

2.) Houston loses out. 

3.) Tennessee loses two of their 3 remaining games.

 

Colts as a wild card(6th sees):

1.) Colts win all 3 remaining games. 

2.) Denver loses out(Very possible)

3.) Miami loses 2 of their 3 remaining games.(Tannehill is injured) 

4.) Baltimore loses 2 of 3 remaining games.(Least likely). 

 

Very unlikely but the colts have a small chance.

That will just deprive the team of a high draft pick, and for what? Just so they can say they got into the playoffs.  This team is mediocre and below average....They just need to get rid of the two..

I don't want to see this team in the playoffs just because we will get destroyed by whoever we play.

Only issue with a higher pick is Grigson drafting another wide receiver or a player that doesn't fit our scheme/need. 

 

I also really wouldn't want to make the playoffs only to be embarrassed on national tv...again. Does us no good.

If we lose out I doubt Grigson is retained.

I have a hard time rooting for the colts to lose. I never miss a game. And I can't stand watching the colts play when they suck. I would rather them be in the playoffs and get the 21st pick if they do lose the first game. Than miss the playoffs and get the 17th pick. We are going to beat Jacksonville. We are going to pick no higher than 13th or 14th IMO. Why not hope the Colts make it and have great luck and win a game or two. It's the playoffs. You never know what could happen.

We'll see how they finish up the season, but who knows if they've packed it in and are just going through the motions.

 

Will be interesting to see if they've given up on themselves at this point.

The only things I see as highly probable are: 

titans losing to chiefs

texans losing to bengals

colts losing to raiders

 

All other games involving Titans, Texans and Colts are toss ups, including the Jaguars games.

Again, i can't be more emphatic about this, "Get rid of those two" Pags/Grigs.  They are destroying this team and their overpaid QB....

Probably so. It's just hard for me to ever rule out the Colts. I'm dreading having to wait another long 6 months without Colts football. I believe either way Irsay keeps Pagano/Grigson by his comments so we might as well hope we make the playoffs.

What you all moaning about? We are definitely going to win out. Why? Because TY threw his toys out of the pram, and called all his team mates 'soft' (or words to that effect). All with the sole intent of making this team better. Well, according to this board, anyway. Yay TY......go Colts.

Scenario 2 is the best chance........but it requires Jacksonville to beat Houston Sunday (it was 24-21 the first time) ...

 

in a 3-way tie between an 8-8 Houston, 8-8 Indy and 8-8 Tennessee...do the Colts' sweep of Tenn and the Houston sweep of the Colts nuetralize each other?

..and in the 'Colts win 2-out-of-3' requirement, the Colts have to lose to Minnesota NOT Oakland, right?

Exactly...to say you got in the playoffs..That' the goal....of all NFL teams

In a 3 way tie Houston wins. Head to head Houston would be 3-1, Colts 2-2, Titans 1-3.
