Just Blasted the Colts!

Dungy said tonight's game is important because the winner wins division AND the loser has to go on the road to play Indy. Harrison then Laughed and said who's afraid to go play Indy? Colts don't have a OL, no running game and a qb who turns the ball over.

What did he say that was wrong?

I was watching and I sadly nodded my head when he said that. I wish it wasn't correct but the team is soft and I don't understand how anyone can be afraid to play them next week.

Prove me wrong, Colts. Transform into that team you should be by now and beat the crap out of whoever comes to town.

he also said we have one wr lol

we have 1 good wide receiver. Nicks hasn't done anything all year but is starting to come on a bit, Wayne might be slower than some linebackers and has problems with drops. Moncrief is just all potential. Lights up a few games and disappears in others. Hilton is the only consistent one.

and we as fans are suppose to believe in them and ignore the outside noise.

Trust me, I absolutely do believe in them. But Rodney is still 100% correct whether we want to admit it or not. I always believe in my colts but nobody is scared of us, why would they be? We've looked like crap for about a month and a half now.

So I expect either Cincinnati and Pittsburgh to dispatch us easily seeing this thread. Hope you all are ready to eat some crow...

Being a fan doesn't mean one must lose reason. The Colts' play as of late supports Harrison's position. I'm more than happy for the Colts to prove Rodney wrong.

The sad thing is we are condemned to repeat this all over again next year with Pagano and Pep...

the team being unprepared to play important games...poor play calling, getting dominated by good D-coordinators...

poor running game due to lack of RB talent, trying to plug in 2nd rate and 3rd rate recycled RBs and 6th rounders....

and then the draft, taking mediocre defensive players in the earliest rounds ignoring RB studs, WR studs and OL studs in the 1st and 2nd rounds....trying to build Coach Chuck's Monster while Andrew has fewer and fewer real playmakers to work with on offense.

....just depressing to think about as we are here again next year looking at 11-5 and one-and-done.

I agree. We're the only people that shouldn't turn our backs on the team.

Believe it or not they read the message board as confirmed by Mathis last season.

We have improved each season under Pagano and Grigson so idk what you're trying to say.

For the love of all that is Holy - say something else.  Do you just copy and paste the same response over and over again?

    • I'm not saying he is about to be a sack machine but you can see some of his potential as a one gap penetrator with that frame.
    • Davis came from Alabama. My point of interest as the writer highlighted is he is moving from being a 2 gapper into now only being responsible for a single gap with a lot more penetration from him versus read and react. With his length and power at 6ft 7 300 plus the expectation for him in our scheme is he will be more disruptive. A much more reliable option for us if Grover goes down in addition to whatever else maybe we can do with him.
    • Thank you. You guys are too kind, but I truly appreciate the support.    Perhaps I am being too hard on myself… But my point still stands that anyone who makes it to the NFL, whether practice squad or starter, has achieved something prestigious that only a rare few ever achieve.    Over a million high schoolers play. Of those only 7.8 percent move on to play in college.    Over 80,000 people play in college. Only 0.4 percent make it to opening day in the NFL.    Only 2,016 players make it to NFL rosters.
    • Davis had a very good rookie season after being drafted in the 2nd round out of Ohio State (I believe).   Graded in the 70’s against both the run and pass.      But his last three years have been disappointing, as he’s graded in the mid-50’s.   The reason I’m so interested in this signing, is (A) I’m sure it was heavily influenced by the new DL coach, Partridge.   And (B) we’re paying him 2/14.  I don’t recall that kind of money ever being given to a basic backup before.   Don’t think Davis is here to push Stewart, the Colts just signed him to 3/39.  That tells me the Colts defensive staff sees him differently.   I don’t know what the plan the staff has come up with for Davis, but I’m looking forward to watching it play out.
