Me, too. He wont play that much longer...

I want to see the milestones...I forgot about the consecutive game TD pass record...

He'll get there this year...and then 70,000 yards....possibly this year

I remember when he and Marvin broke the Duo record against the Rams.

Weird seeing Manning surrounded by these odd, orange cast of characters.

Sad it wasn't broken as a Colt, but super happy he got the record. All the more amazing considering he recently missed an entire season!

To get to 600, he'll likely have to play 2 - 3 more seasons.

Like mentioned by the broadcast announcers, this record is going to stand for a very long time. None of his era peers have a shot, including Brady.

Will the eventual record ever be broken? Well, Luck is on the verge of breaking a Colts / Manning record next week and Luck is currently on pace with Manning. It would take an excellent alignment of the stars for him to have as long, healthy, and successful of a career, but right now, as I see it, Luck is the only new generation QB that would have a shot. As a forever Colts fan, I hope Luck does. That would mean another generation of Colts excellence and I'm all for that!

Congrats to Manning!

Exactly how I feel..but things are trending towards a Indy-Denver AFC title game

Still over half a season to go and things can turn on a dime in the NFL.  Pats will keep winning games that's what they do and the Ravens all of the sudden look very good.  Plus there are always upsets in the playoffs.

Possibly Aaron Rodgers, or Andrew Luck.  But don't rule out Drew Brees.  If he stays healthy, and keeps his skills like Peyton has, there is a chance. And Brees is on record saying he wants to play another ten years (until he is 45!)

His teammates (Welker,Thomas, Sanders) were playing keep away from Peyton with the football on the sidelines afterward.

Thought that was pretty funny as it happened then heard today that Manning orchestrated that entire charade prior to the game!   IMO that makes it pretty pathetic!

On a side note I noticed Denver had special flag and signs made up with 509 on them ... are they going to create a new flag for every TD as every one from here on out will be a NEW record?  HAH!

I never took you for one to believe everything the media throws out.   I just don't believe that Peyton would orchestrate anything of the sort no matter what the media is saying. JMO   I personally didn't hear anything on this.  Do you have a link  :???:

Why is that hard for you to believe? Peyton has a great sense of humor and knows better than anyone how to play the moment. I thought it was great even if he did orchestrate it. The record he achieved is perhaps the most sacred record in the NFL akin to the home run record in baseball. He deserves to yuk it up all he wants.

Not sure why you think that.  Just a couple of dude's clownin around with one another.  Big whoop.

It wasn't the media...Demaryius Thomas talked about it after the game.

Thanks for clarification.      I know that Peyton is a joker but the way the OP made this sound is that he was trying to get more attention and that it was pathetic. Made it sound like he was seeking more attention and not joking . Maybe I needed another cup of coffee before reading on the forum. :D

What difference does it make...??    I thought it was spontaneous too, and if it wasn't ~ so what?

It's kind of fun to think that Peyton wanted to "lighten" the moment with a little fun with his teammates.

For me ~ it was GREAT to see Peyton  having FUN and Smiling during a game.   Something you rarely see from him,  even when his team is up by 3 or 4 TD's.

It was great to witness History being made by such a deserving guy.

The keep-away game was hilarious, who cares if it was rehearsed? It was a great way to handle it and to whatever extent I'm sure Manning wanted to involve his (current) teammates in any celebration.

From the fanbase of perhaps his fiercest rival, a hearty congrats to Peyton Manning for this accomplishment. As if the HOF resume needed any extra bullets!

He apparently didn't even get to keep the ball.  Apparently that ball goes in the HOF.

Yep, it did go to the HOF. They had some old guy in a suit, they showed him putting the ball into a HOF bag with handles, and later showed him being escorted out of the stadium even before halftime was over.

I ran out of likes FX, TYG, & Gramz. It was nice to see such a determined workhorse QB surpass another milestone. Good work 18!

As much as I dislike Brett Favre, I have to give #4 credit for his kind words toward Peyton.

"I'm glad it's Peyton that's doing it," Favre told the AP in a phone interview from his home in Mississippi. "I think a lot of Peyton. I know him well. I know his family well. His dad was one of my idols."

It probably was rehearsed. It's still hilarious watching Manning flailing around.
